He was referred by my dentist to consult about my swollen gum. Without even looking at my mouth he said I needed to have my wisdom teeth pulled - this did not come from my dentist. He was extremely rude, arrogant and rushed and wouldn't listen to me. I have never experienced such appalling behaviour by a medical professional. He said I didn't have room for any of my wisdom teeth and that I would need all 4 pulled. I have had all 4 for over 15 years without any issues and my teeth weren't even causing me the problem. It was a swollen gum from a throat infection. Clearly he's just there to rip out teeth and make money.

I was referred to Dr. Strauss by my regular dentist who was not confident about pulling a rear molar. I went to Dr. Strauss. I sat down in the chair, was sedated intravenously, there was music playing. I closed my eyes. I opened my eyes and said when will you begin. The nurse said ``it`s all over, here`s your tooth if you want it.` No pain. Best dental experience I ever had. Dave Mather

I had a very bad experience with Dr Strauss and | would not recommend him. He was rude and impatient. All that matters to him is his time and making money. He was eager to charge more than what he had originally estimated. He was very rough in the tooth extraction when perhaps he could have done it more gently if he were not in a hurry. His assistant was more sympathetic.

Dr. Strauss took out my wisdom teeth 26 yrs. ago. My daughter had an attempted extraction of hers with another dental surgeon, and it was a horrible experience for her when he was unable to sedate her. I was happy to see Dr. Strauss was still practicing. He took the time to come to the phone to speak directly to me, and as an RN let me tell you very few will do this. He took time to speak with my daughter at her consult, and recommended general anesthesia for her. Dr. Bryan Waxman came in to do the sedation and was fantastic. Both made her feel much more at ease (she was extremely anxious and tearful). A week later, she said the experience was not nearly as bad as she anticipated. Dr. Strauss is knowledgable, has a very kind and gentle approach and his office staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful during a very stressful time. I will be returning to have my son's wisdom teeth out in a year or two. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Strauss and his capable team. Worth the price and then some. TM
