Dr. Sangjoon Yeo

Dr. Sangjoon Yeo completed his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with honours and an Honours Bachelor of Science (HBSc) at the University of Toronto. His foremost objective as a dentist is to provide patient-centered care and establish positive relationships with his patients. Dr. Yeo is currently working at dental offices located in Toronto, providing a wide range of dental treatments, including periodontal treatments (scaling, oral hygiene), restorative treatments (fillings), prosthetic treatments (crowns and bridges), endodontic treatments (root canal treatments) and surgical extractions. Dr. Yeo is an active member of Canadian Dental Association and Ontario Dental Association. He continues to elevate the quality of his dental practice with evidence based care through continuing education and his involvement in research and academia

I take pride in my diligence and interpersonal skills. My resolute goal in practice is to provide quality dental treatments through strong work ethics, clinical skills and caring heart. I have consistently strived to achieve clinical excellence by providing evidence based and patient-centered care in all aspects of dentistry. Listening to the patients’ concern and tailoring treatment plan to accommodate the individualized needs of each patient is my key to patient satisfaction and establishment of positive patient-dentist relationship.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

The primary focus of my practice is to establish a stable oral condition though fundamental and essential dental treatments. These include restorative treatments (fillings and crowns to remove cavities, protect natural teeth and improve esthetics), endodontics (root canal treatments to eliminate infections) and extractions (surgical removal of non-salvageable teeth).

What are you proud of in your practice?

We have a unique and supportive team that is trained for highly effective, caring and comforting patient care. We provide wide range of procedures to accommodate the individualized needs of each patient. Providing the best-possible care for our patients is our top priority. Our office also offers in-house care by specialists to manage complex cases of root canal treatments and surgical extractions.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

My greatest enjoyment comes from treating patients with dental anxiety. Dental anxiety is often associated with traumatic experiences in the past and it is one of the major barriers hindering patients’ regular dental visits. Effective pain management through empathetic communication skills, thorough explanation and caring chair side manners have helped my patients to overcome their dental anxiety. It always gives me a great deal of rewarding experiences whenever the patients thank me for the care they received.
