My first appointment was great! They didn’t have time to do my cleaning, but rather evaluated my mouth by taking x-rays, which the technician was very gentle with. She also made me feel comfortable and relaxed by cracking jokes with me and just overall being friendly, polite, patient and nice with me. The doctor then came in and measured my gums which was a little painful, but that was mostly my fault because I had poor dental hygiene and routines regarding flossing and brushing. During that process he expressed to me the meaning behind the different measurement numbers and what the outcome may be regarding the measurement of my gums. The dentist went on to take a digital copy of my mouth with a new device that I had never seen before but helped explain the circumference of my teeth and mouth. The concluding diagnosis came out to be that I have gum disease. The doctor expressed to me that we will have to do a deep cleaning which may be very painful but they will do their best to make it as pain free as possible. We booked a follow up only a week later, which I was surprised they had availability so fast! During my second appointment we did my deep cleaning. First, they numbed up my gums with a gel which helped with the numbing injections. The only painful part of the cleaning process was honestly the first three injections on the top right part of my gums. He went on to the left side of my gums and I barely felt the injection on that side, but still tensed up because of my fear of needles. I guess due to the intensity of the treatment, my body began trembling and shaking so I thought I was cold (even though I was wearing my warmest clothes). They had a heated blanket prepped and ready at the foot of the chair and the doctor helped put it on me before proceeding with my left side which really helped me realize that I wasn’t necessarily cold but just slightly nervous and tensing/stiffening my body. Once I realized this I was able to relax. The whole process took less time than the X-rays and initial examination of my mouth. He also had a new device that sat comfortably in my mouth which helped keep my mouth open AND suck the water out at the same time resulting in less hands in my mouth at one time! I was very impressed with the technology they had! Overall, the staff are extremely caring and compassionate about their patients and have a high quality and assurance towards your comfortability and knowledge of your dental hygiene! The dentist kept on apologizing and expressed that he was trying to be as gentle as possible. I honestly felt very little discomfort and felt the energy in his hands of true compassion and care/ passion for his work towards wanting to help people make a difference in their lives through dental hygiene. This was reaffirmed when the doctor personally called me after the weekend to check in on how my teeth and gums were feeling and if I had any additional concerns. It has been a week since my deep cleaning and I have started a new routine with my dental hygiene. I floss every day as soon as I come home from my day and now brush at least once a day if not twice. My gums no longer bleed when I floss or brush and are not as sore afterwards. Also, my teeth were super white after my cleaning which I have been trying to maintain but am starting to notice some coffee stains. I am excited for my next office visit with them but am a little nervous because I will be getting a wisdom tooth extracted. I am not nervous about the extraction process but more so of the at home after care I will have to do. I am confident that my experience during my extraction will be as painless compassionate, and comfortable as my deep cleaning was! Dr. Kandar explained everything to me in detail about the options I had in order to fix my tooth pain. Even when I had more questions he took all the time I needed to completely understand. I felt like I had control of how I wanted to handle my treatment.

I've never had a more thorough, educational, careful/conscientious, and thoughtful dentist visit in all of my life. Dr. Kandar took a great deal of time being thorough with my teeth. He was incredibly educational about new dental techniques/technology/scientific understanding and presented several options for a path forward for the future of my teeth. You know the bright light they shine onto your face at a dentist appt.? I was given sunglasses so that I wasn't blinded; that is incredibly conscientious service. And lastly, the thoughtfulness of Dr. Kandar and his team to my questions and in creating a plan of action was just great. Two thumbs up, five stars, 10 out of 10! Thank you!

The office and staff are top tier. I got a very thorough exam and the doctors took the time to explain my care plan and make me feel at ease. I highly recommend this office if you want the best service and technology.

Dr Amjad Kandar was very sweet. He explained everything with great detail and patience, giving me time to ask any questions along the way. Bringing me the comfort I needed to move forward.

Very detailed, they knew my name upon walking in. Very kind and look forward to referring friends. It has been several years since i visited a dentist, but we set up a plan to get back on track.
