Fuller Smiles - San Francisco

Had my first appointment with Fuller Smiles today, and it went amazing. All of the staff were extremely friendly, which made the environment so welcoming for me. The appointment went by very smoothly and experienced nearly no pain or discomfort whatsoever. Will definitely be coming back here from now on for my dental appointments and would recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing dental office like this one!

I really wanted to like this place because the staff is nice, but wouldn't recommend and definitely will not return. There were just too many red flags during my visit: 1) Dentist called me a few hours before my initial appointment to tell me the scheduler made a mistake and they can't see me. Had to move meeting arounds and reschedule to the following day 2) During the xray, the assistant was touching the computer mouse and other equipment with the same gloves she was putting in my mouth. I had to ask her to change them, which she did nicely, but it made me really uneasy about their sanitation habits 3) They polished my teeth BEFORE the cleaning. Never had it done in this order before. They claimed it helps the dentist see better, but it felt like they were just stalling because the doctor was running late 4) Felt like they were double-booking the dentist. He was late, and ran back and forth between me and another patient. Having assistants pop in to talk about someone else's dental work while the doctor is literally in my mouth was bizarre and unprofessional 5) Not sure if it was because the room is so tight, but instead of hanging the suction tool where it's based, they just draped the tube across my chest like a seatbelt. I’ve never had a dentist do that and felt awkward. He was nice so I'm sure he would've moved it if I asked, but I shouldn't have to? 6) The cherry on top is usually, when you're almost done, fluoride is a polish they brush on/over teeth. Here, it felt like they used a glue gun. It was just a thick, messy line across my teeth that didn't even cover the surface properly. I spent the next few hours pulling white, stringy residue out of my mouth Not the best experience and felt like the folks there just aren't trained properly or experienced in the slightest. If looking for a dentist, I'd look elsewhere

Pretty good for teeth cleaning

Had a lovely visit to Fuller Smiles! The staff were friendly and professional. When a patient walked in the front door, they greeted them by name. The dentist was friendly and was good about taking time to answer my questions. He even had me hold up a mirror so I could see specific things he wanted to point out. I'd highly recommend Fuller Smiles to anyone looking for a dentist in SF!

This was a good experience overall. There was no wait time and my appointment started at the reserved time. One hour in and out! Excellent care by both the staff and the doctor for x-rays, cleaning and polishing. They will be my dentist going forward.
