Dr. Humam Shalabi

Dr. Humam Shalabi is an experienced general dentist with more than nine years of clinical experience and a passion for providing comprehensive, patient-centered dental care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Damascus University Faculty of Dentistry and went on to complete two years of advanced postgraduate training through the CODA-accredited Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at NYU Langone Health. Dr. Shalabi was drawn to dentistry because it brings together his love of hands-on work, creativity, science, and helping others. He particularly enjoys cosmetic and restorative dentistry, where attention to detail and artistry can make a meaningful difference in both a patient's oral health and confidence. His clinical experience includes cosmetic and restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, veneers, endodontics, oral surgery, implant dentistry, dentures and prosthodontics, and clear aligner therapy. He especially enjoys comprehensive cases that allow him to restore both function and aesthetics while developing treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs. Known for his warm chairside manner, Dr. Shalabi believes that excellent dentistry begins with listening. He takes the time to understand his patients' concerns, explain their treatment options clearly, and help them feel comfortable and confident about their care. His philosophy is simple: treat every patient with the same patience, honesty, and attention to detail that he would want for a member of his own family. Dr. Shalabi has also given back to the community through volunteer dental care, community health fairs, and dental outreach programs. He speaks both English and Arabic. Outside the office, Dr. Shalabi enjoys traveling, playing pickleball and card games, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new experiences with his wife.
