Dr. Maycher graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba in 1978. Since then he has owned and operated practices in both Winnipeg and Vancouver, taught dentistry at the University of Manitoba for eight years, and served as a long-time member of the Dentistry Ethics Committee in Manitoba. He has also been a part time clinical instructor at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Maycher enjoys playing golf, hockey, cycling, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

I have a lower sense of trust when going to the dentist because everything from the admin and dental side was always explained vaguely, and any further communication seemed like a bother to the staff at my previous clinics. Dr. Romeyn, Mitch, and Raj at Bay Dental were friendly, helpful, and explained the procedure and treatment plan thoroughly.
