I was seen promptly. The staff had a patient way about them that I think is especially useful for a dental office. During my cleaning the doctor was carrying on a casual conversation which I appreciated as it helped divert my attention and put me at ease.

Statement of Concern – Dental Office Visit I presented for a routine preventive dental cleaning and brought my active insurance card. At check‑in, I was advised that it would take approximately one hour to verify my eligibility and benefits. During this wait, I contacted my insurance carrier directly and had a live insurance representative on the phone who was prepared to provide my eligibility and benefit details. The dental office front desk refused to take the call or accept the benefit information from the insurance representative. After waiting approximately one hour, I was taken back for the appointment. X‑rays were taken, and I was seated for what I understood would be a preventive cleaning. At that time, I was advised that a deep cleaning was “recommended” based on the X‑rays. I was shown an image and told there was a very small shadow that could possibly become a cavity in the future, and a tiny hole‑like area that was not identified as an existing cavity. I was informed these services could be completed during this same visit. I was told that before any cleaning could be performed, I needed to receive pricing information. A dental assistant returned and advised that the deep cleaning would cost over $500, due to the use of different instruments. I stated clearly that I was not prepared to proceed with a deep cleaning and only wished to receive the preventive cleaning that I originally scheduled. I was then advised that a preventive cleaning would not be performed because the dentist “recommended” the deep cleaning and the office was unwilling to proceed with preventive services alone. As a result: • No cleaning of any kind was performed • I was informed that my insurance would still be billed for the exam and X‑rays • I left without receiving the preventive service I requested and expected I am concerned that: • I was refused a covered preventive service unless I consented to higher‑cost treatment • I received no treatment benefit beyond diagnostics • The office intends to bill my insurance despite refusing the preventive service I sought While I understand providers may make recommendations, I believe patients should retain the right to decline non‑urgent treatment without being denied routine, covered preventive care. I am requesting review of this matter for appropriate billing and practice standards.

Friendly and explains all options

I had X-rays done and routine check up , no cleaning was done due to my insurance not covering the normal cleaning.

In general the service is really good, the Dr takes care of you by explaining what she has find in the x rays and wha are the things to do and why. Part of the cleaning was done by her and the final procedure by her assistant. Friendly staff and the location has plenty of parking space.
