Dr. Jessica Ngo

Dr. Jessica was the first dentist to officially partner with Total Health Dental Care, and we are proud to have her on board. Dr. Jessica provides outstanding dental care to patients at her office on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley. From children to Cal students and adults of all ages, Dr. Jessica offers the full spectrum of dental services, providing top-tier service with an interdisciplinary approach. Moving swiftly and confidently between general dentistry and specialty procedures, her dental care is patient-centered at all times. She is certified to administer oral conscious sedation and routinely treats patients with same-day crowns. Dr. Jessica truly cares about each of her patients, and her goal is to not only treat the causes of dental disease but to use dentistry to restore a patient’s confidence in their smile and self. After graduating from UC Davis, Dr. Jessica completed her dental degree at the University of the Pacific’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Now as a board-certified dentist, Dr. Jessica enjoys prestigious memberships with the San Francisco Dental Society, California Dental Association and American Dental Association. Born and raised in San Francisco, her heart has always been in the Bay Area and she takes pride in educating her patients, treating them with compassion and using the latest technology to offer world-class treatment no matter the condition of their smiles. Before going to dental school, Dr. Jessica worked in a periodontist’s office and is uniquely trained in the long-terms effects of gum disease. When she is not cementing crowns, restoring implants or fitting dentures (to name a few of her specialties), Dr. Jessica is on the golf course, playing tennis or lifting weights – fun fact…she can lift 150% of her own body weight! She lives in San Francisco with her husband.

I believe that my patients deserve the best dentistry possible and that patient experience is key to my success as a doctor. I’m dedicated to making sure each of my patients feels relaxed, comfortable and confident in the treatment. To that goal, I enjoy explaining each diagnosis and encourage my patients to ask any questions they may have. I also strive to empower my patients with the knowledge to take control of their health. I focus on prevention and use nutrition as a tool to help patients overcome long-term dental issues such as gum disease, loss of teeth and cavities. I love people and seek to develop lasting professional relationships with my patients.

At Total Health, we do everything under one roof. Our team of specialists do everything from periodontal treatments to oral surgery, orthodontic and implants.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud of the excellent dentistry and exceptional experience we provide. Our patients rave about us on Yelp and Google. It’s fulfilling to see a new patient come in with some level of anxiety and leave feeling 100% comfortable with and confident in the cleaning or treatment. Our patients leave feeling good about themselves. They leave smiling.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Since dentistry is a combination of science and art, every case is fulfilling. I really love helping people. It’s an incredible feeling to see a patient smile with confidence and genuine happiness after an office visit.
