Dr. Venus Sobhi

she was extremely late for my appt, doesn't properly explain procedures and does a very poor job with dental work.

Dr Sobhi has been my dentist for about four years now so I decided to take my mother there because she needed new dentures. After her consultation my mom needed upper and lower complete dentures, Dr Sobhi explained to us the benefits of implant supported dentures vs just dentures with absolute patience. We went ahead with the implant supposed dentures and the day of the procedure Dr Sobhi was extremely kind and understanding towards my mothers worries and did not rush her at all and explained everything she was doing so she would feel more relaxed. After months of waiting for the area to heal ( which is totally normal) she was finally able to get her permanent dentures and they looked stunning that seeing my mothers before and after made me cry, she was extremely happy! Throughout the whole process Dr Sobhi along with her amazing staff was nothing but kind, graceful and extremely patient with all of my mothers questions and concerns. I only wished that i took my mother to see her sooner and recommend her to all my friends and family Dr Sobhi is truly a talented and gifted dentist.

Poor quality...unclear about work and charges...convenient location is about all..

Was abrupt, didn't explain the procedure.. Basically wanted my wallet. Got a quote and then after it was complete... It was a few extra hundred dollars. Very contradicting :( above all I would probably go back. ;)

I went for an emergency, and decided to take on Venus and her staff as my permanent dental care team. She is very deft and skilled. The root canal and implant went quickly, and recovery was great. I'm not the best patient-but the hygienist and Venus were great with me: kind and informative.

Had to wait 2 hours after my appointment time. On top of that, the cleaning was done in a rush to get other patients in. Felt and looked like they barely cleaned my teeth. Don't go here!

Saw a Facebook ad stating a special for an implant at $1500 all inclusive including the implant and cap. The person responsible for responding to the ad confirmed the all in price. The ad responder reneged on the price and said it would be $3000 for both. This is more than a simple mistake. It's misleading. What's more is that the ad mentions she is an implant specialist. There is no such specialty in the implant field from my understanding. When it's too good to be true then it probably is!

Saw Dr. Sobhi at King West office for an implant. She was extremely helpful answering all my questions prioir to the surgery. No pain during the surgery and very easy healing. Recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist!

My mom had dental emergency Friday night. Dr. Sobhi made arrangements to see her first thing Sat morning. This dentist is highly compassionate, professional, and experienced - I wish more of them out there were like her!

I have been going to her regularly for almost three years and she has been great every time. In my experience she is on time, professional and she explains everything clearly. I've always had good service at the dental clinic.

Dr. Sobhi was late for my morning appointment (more than 30 mins). Rude. Walked out of the room before making sure I was happy and satisfied with the treatment. Then, when I politely told her , there was discomfort she told me I'd "get used to it" and walked out again. I finally had to insist she come back, and she actually huffed and puffed before looking in my mouth and realized there was indeed a problem (she did apologize). I'm likely not going back. Dominica, the receptionist is amazing. Dr. Sobhi should check her personal cell phone in private away from patients; it's unprofessional. Other staff there seem very lovely.

You're better off finding another dentist.Poor work quality and rude. Enough said.

My previous encounters with other dentists have usually been intimidating; however Dr. Sobhi did such a great job on my half broken tooth that I feel much confident about future visits. The dental center was very welcoming and the staff was brilliant. Dr. Sobhi supported my decision on having a root canal and the surgery was done so flawlessly that I hardly experienced any pain. It has been one week now from the day I had my treatment and I am fully satisfied and amazed with the results. The final fee was well worth it and I highly recommend this dentist to any potential clients.

I am really pleased with my work from Dr. Sobhi. I had several fillings, my smile was evened out with filing and polishing and she was super quick and pleasant. Honestly, I've been to this clinic several times for cleanings, fillings and miscellaneous work. The receptionist, hygienists and Dr. Sobhi are all kind and careful. I have had a positive experience every time.

I am sad to say that this "dentist" is poorly trained in both bedside manner and her work. The filling she did on me was of very poor quality (i had to go elsewhere to get it replaced) and she over charged me.

I only went in for a filling replacement and came out with a half assed root canal(the NERVE). I ended up back at my regular dentist, feeling bad about how convenience was a good thing. Unfortunately DR.VENUS SOBHI immediately tried to sell me on an implant. Her demeaner was aggresive, indifferent and off putting. I will never go back. I did get the impression she was all about making a buck and had zero interest in making her potential client feel connected. Don't Go.

she was very attentive to my needs and quite knowledgeable on the matter. She spent great time on the case and delievered excellent results!

Had to go in for a root canal, she said it would be $750. Paid $100 on the first visit and $650 on the second. When they did up the receipt / claim form the total came to $1,150 but they still only charged me $750. I like this place and I'll keep coming back. She seems honest enough and the rates aren't bad.

Agree with the previous rater that this doctor is trying to rip you off. She gave my daughter a checkup then told us she needed filling for some teeth. So we went there 3 times. She always asked us to sign a blank form and never gave us a breakdown of the cost, and we never suspected. Only later that we found out that each of the first two visits costed us $800+, that much for about 20 minutes of work. The third visit was cheaper as we demanded a clear explanation of what was being done and the cost. But only about a month later the teeth she worked on caused big trouble. There is swelling, bleeding, a lot of pain, and fever. Now it looks like a root canal is unavoidable and that is probably going to cost us more than $1000! Beware of this terrible doctor, not only that she is ripping you off, she is also doing a miserable job! The clinic is setup to be very child-friendly, but don't fall into the trap. You'd better off to take your child somewhere less fancy but actually do the job.

I saw Dr. Sobhi when Iwas three months pregnant. I was in extreme pain on my tooth. Walked in on Saturday afternoon. she stayed late after all her patients and saw me. I only paied her after my baby was borned when she finished my work.

Waited half an hour after my scheduled appt. time. Tried to charge $1200.00 for a root canal when the person at the front desk told me it would be close to $600.00, I told her I could not afford it so I only did half of the root canal. Also she never would give me a break down on paper of the fees beforehand like other dentists do! Very rough & unfriendly dentist... When I explained that she was tugging way too hard on the corner of my mouth with her mirror & that it was hurting me she tried to say the pain must be "because of the winter weather or something, it's not my fault!!!" NICE TRY!!! ***DO NOT GO TO THIS RIP-OFF DENTIST, SHE WILL TRY TO SAY THAT YOUR WORK IS EXTRA DIFFICULT IN ORDER TO INCREASE WHAT SHE CHARGES YOU!!! This is 100% TRUE***
