Hello, I have been a patient for about 2 years and every time I email an inquiry, I receive a very prompt and pleasant reply from the staff. They have been very accommodating of any changes that I have needed to make and always follow up with me which is a good thing since I can become forgetful when my schedule gets busy. In person, they are just as friendly and helpful. My hygienist is excellent. She has a warm demeanour and is very thorough. I really love this dental office. Kudos to you guys for being so awesome!

Not a great experience in any of my three visits. Lots of confusion with the front desk staff over a few administrative things. Dentist wouldn't admit that the x-ray imaging machine was uses x-rays, he claimed "it's digital".

I am new to this office because I just moved into the area into the new condo across the street. It's very convenient for me and I like that they're open longer hours so I can go after work. The girls at the front were really helpful with setting up my appointment and my insurance. The office is very pretty and clean. I saw the hygienist for a cleaning and she was very sweet. Dr.Car was nice and easy to talk to. I like that I got the option to do a free whitening which I am very excited for !!! :)

I picked Dr Richard Carr's office because I live in the area and find it very convenient to have my dental appointments before I start work. The first time I walked into the office I remember thinking how beautiful and clean it was and the ladies at the front was very friendly and knowledgeable with my insurance. Since I'm new to Canada I didn't really understand my benefits or how dental insurance and billing worked here but the front desk was able to explain and simplify the whole process for me. I really like how thorough the complete oral exam was and luckily I didn't have any cavities to be filled but it was good to know the doctors here are so precise! I also really loved my hygienist I believe her name was Carly and she did a great job and made me feel comfortable but the main thing is that she was gentle because I have sensitivity in my gums especially during a cleaning. So overall I was very happy at the office and I would come back again.

I've been a patient here for about a year now and I enjoy going to the office. I've seen two of the hygienist and both dentists. The girls are always cheerful and helpful. The front staff is great with explaining everything to do with insurance for me because I am a dud when it comes to that. I like that I don't have to worry about anything because they do direct billing. I've recommended my friends to this office and will continue coming back.

After seeing Dr. Carr I went for a second opinion a few days later. Dr. Carr said I needed 7 fillings replaces (I didn't even know I had 7), 1 cavity and a rotting tooth? The next doctor said I had 4 cavities and mentioned nothing about replacing fillings or a rotting tooth. I saw a third dentist and she also said nothing about either of those things. I'm certain he saw my benefit plan and diagnosed me based off of that. It was a horrible experience as I'm very nervous at the dentist. His hygienist was nice but he was awkward and didn't explain anything to me as he was going. Every other office complained that the x-rays Dr. Carr's office provided were too blurry to use to diagnose. Unfortunately I didn't check around before going so I wasted a large sum of money for their useless Dental Exam. I will not be back.

I have just recently switched dentists and I was very excited to come to this office. I have seen the pictures on their website and I've read a few reviews. At first I had my doubts because of a few bad reviews but then again you can never please everyone, especially when it comes to dentists. The office was fairly easy to find. The front desk staff was wonderful and very helpful in explaining the procedures and my payment options. I felt very comfortable with the assistant and Dr.Carr as well. The hygienist was very sweet and we had a great conversation. I will definitely be returning to the office and recommending my friends. Don't get discouraged by the bad reviews this office is great!!!

I was looking for a dentist near my new home and came across this office. I started with a cleaning to check out the office. It was clean and modern with new equipment and close to home so I returned for a complete exam. Like another patient of his who rated Dr. Carr on this site, I too was recommended to get a few replacement fillings done. His dental assistant was in "training" and personally this was the worst dental experience for me in all my 35 years. I was not advised that his assistant was in training, there was more critiquing than coaching going on and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I am all for teaching but not done this way, especially without notifying the patient first that the assistant is in training. He does have a really nice dental hygienist which made me feel at easy on the first visit, but beyond a basic cleaning I would not return to this dentist.

My whole family goes to Dr. Carr (kids included). We are always well taken care of. He is very thorough and takes his time with us. Most important, my kids love him. He is very gentle and unlike some Doctor's has a great bedside manner. He has fixed my teeth in emergency situations and has always followed up with phone calls. His Hygenists are very thorough and professional. I would recommend Dr. Carr, and have to many people.

Does anyone like there Dentist? I have to say I've always hated my dentist till I came to see Dr.Carr and his staff. I actually like my dentist now. I travel from the North end of the City to come have work done at his office. I have never written any kind of review like this but I thought I would express my total satisfaction with Dr.Carr and his office. I have never had a problem and I've recommended several people to his office and all have had good expirences. It's hard to make everyone happy in this world but I found a great Dentist!!!

Bad Idea. Went to this guy and thought he was very thorough at first. After several visits for unecessary replacement fillings to whites from metal ( saw my 100% coverage) he disturbed a nerve resulting in requiring a root canal. But.... he neglected to tell me that the wisdom teeth should come out first. Long story short - at least 15 visits in a year + root canal + requisite crown work = one rich **** who should've left everything alone after initial consultation and cleaning. Sent 'request' to my insurance company after all of this without my consent for more crown work - found out when insurance co. Inquired about all this work. Steer clear of this circus act. A real prick - may as well went through my coat in the closet to take my coins, at least he could've bought a current newspaper - probably steals it from he neighbour.

This dentist has pretty much confirmed my thought that a lot of dentists are scam artists. I've never been told I need so many fillings done when I was feeling zero pain at all. What ethical dentist would suggest so much costly treatment when the patient feels zero pain? Somehow I think my 100% insurance coverage motivated his over aggressive treatment.
