We are a friendly and approachable team nestled in the heart of the financial district in downtown Toronto. Our goal is for each patient to leave our office smiling confidently. We will spend time with you discussing your oral health and if you need any treatment, we will guide you through the process. As a dentist, I offer a gentle and friendly approach to treatment. I understand that dentistry can be a daunting prospect for many people. Our dental services range from general dental care to cosmetic dentistry. I am also experienced in wisdom tooth removal and placing dental implants. I am passionate about my role as a healthcare educator and community involvement. Alongside my work in clinic, I am currently a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. I am also fortunate to have participated in dental missions to Guatemala, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru and Cambodia. Outside of work, I spend most of my spare time photographing and playing with my two growing children, Audrey and Phillip.

Amazing dental practice! I went in for a checkup as a new patient (cleaning, X-Rays, photos, etc.). I had a very thorough and pleasant cleaning from the cool hygienist, Jenn. Dr Son was quite warming and informative, and the rest of the staff was awesome as well.

The session began on time. Cleaning was impressively painless especially considering it was long overdue. Dr Son provided all necessary information clearly and was very open to questions. The overall impression was friendly and professional. My only negative comment concerns Opencare which provided me with information regarding appointment availability which was simply false.

My experience with Dr. Pil Son was (on two occasions) excellent. He took the time to build a rapport and make me feel at ease, answer all of my questions, and ensure that I was feeling confident and informed. I would recommend Dr. Pil to anyone, but especially to those with anxiety about dental care; I was made to feel very at ease and comfortable. The clinic itself is modern, clean and inviting. I especially loved being shown photos of each of my teeth. This really helped me to understand what was happening.

Dr. Son was fantastic and the entire staff was awesome. I'm so glad I found his practice through Opencare. Dr. Son was super knowledgeable, kind, and professional yet not condescending. He went through with me the details of both the pictures of my teeth and of the x-rays. He made sound recommendations and did not try to push unnecessary (scary) work. The office had great all-new modern equipment. Their hygienist (Stephanie) was super awesome as well. She was thorough, gentle, her cues/timing for cleaning and breaks were perfect, and very responsive to my cues. I think I found my (possibly forever) dentist and have already recommended him to my friends and family.

A quiet and clean clinic that was suitably located near Union Station. I booked an appointment with them for a full checkup with x rays and cleaning. I have not been to the dentist for about 3 years and my appointment took longer than usual because of this. However, the staff were all very friendly and patient with me. Dr. Pil Son was knowledgeable about what he does. He took the time to go over every tooth and explained to me what is happening with them. It was a nice and relaxing experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Son and his staff if you work or live nearby.

Dr. Son is thorough, professional and completely approachable. The first visit includes an in-depth look with photos at your dental history. This can be a slightly daunting and overwhelming experience but Dr. Son answers and addresses all concerns clearly and concisely.
