About
After having graduated from the University of Toronto I was a school dentist for ten years, I enjoy working with children and all aspects of family dentistry. Outside of dentistry I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons and am also a proud grandfather of a boy. During the summer I play baseball five times a week and also enjoy golfing.
What are you proud of in your practice?
I'm proud of the team we have here along with the many long-term patients we have who continue to travel for their regular appointments (some as far away as Mexico)!
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I particularly enjoy treating patients coming in for emergencies. Being able to get someone out of their pain brings me a sense of accomplishment and is what I love doing in dentistry.

People seem to like their jobs here from reception to the dentist. There’s laughter and all the staff was in a good mood. No wait. The dental assistant was efficient and gentle, and the dental hygienist is an artist. Best of all I felt no shade for having avoided visiting a dentist for the past few years. Quick, easy and generally a comfortable experience

Was seen as soon as i had completed the form. The hygienist was very nice and considerate as was Dr Sokalsky. I was given an x-ray at my own request and offered a follow up procedure at my earliest convenience.
