Dr. John (Jongwook) Kim received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The University of Toronto. He strives to further his pursuit of clinical knowledge and care through continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry such as endodontics, cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. He firmly believes in patient centred-care and empowerment in making treatment decisions that are in the patient’s best interest. Dr. Kim continuously seeks to improve himself in fostering compassion and empathy for others while upholding integrity. Dr. Kim has volunteered on mission trips to orphanages in Haiti and Cameroon, and dental mission trips to a community in Jamaica where access to care was limited.

    Dr. Kim and the entire team at Chaplin were all very professional and friendly! Going to the dentist is no one's favourite thing, but they make the cleanings quick and efficient with as little annoyance as possible.
