Dr. Angelo Poulos

After so many disappointing visits with different dentists my husband and I finally found the best dental office in Toronto. Doctor Poulos, Caroline and Abby were very nice and my nervousness disappeared. I will recommend this team to everybody who needs real dental care.

From the moment I walked into the the office, I had a positive experience. The front desk clerks, the three dental hygienists and the dentist were all very friendly.

I had my wisdom tooth extracted by him. He did perfectly well and smooth. Quick, professional, and efficient. Also his assistant explained the procedures thoroughly and taught me how to take care myself cautiously to ensure a speedy recovery.

Great experience. Staff knowledgable and courteous. My first visit was for cleaning and it was a great experience, she was really caring and made sure I understood what she was doing and what I needed to do in order to keep healthy. Also, excellent location.

Very personable and professional. Had a great visit. Filled in my cavity under 30 mins. They had a movie of my choice on while the procedure was being done. Dentist and dental assistant both worked as a team well.

I loved it, they were really welcoming and I am a hundred percent satisfied with the job dentist did!

Received good service from the hygienist however was surprised (especially as a brand new patient) that's Dr Poulos did not introduce himself to me or do any part of the cleaning/checkup. At my precious dentist's office, the dentist always popped in after my cleaning to touch base on any issues and perform his own checkup. The staff, however, seemed competent and provided good patient service. They took the time to discuss any issues I was having which made me feel more confident with the service I was receiving.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone was very good at walking me through their examination process and the status of my teeth. The dentist was very personable and walked me through my x-rays. Definitely will recommend them.

He was very friendly, talkative, engaging and thorough. It was a great experience for my first time seeing him. He made sure to fill me in on everything that was happening, and made sure to address any questions or concerns I had.

Did not choose to book an appointment to see the dentist on my first visit, just a cleaning. However, I thought they did an amazing job on the cleaning (took them over an hour). I met Dr. Poulos very briefly who seemed very friendly and treated his staff well. Setting up my insurance details was extremely straightforward, just a matter of filling out a couple of papers before the appointment. Overall, had a great experience and very impressed with the flexible operating hours.

It was a smooth visit, passed like a breeze. The doctor was very knowledgeable and professional. Gave me proper advice on what needs to be done. All in all it was an excellent experience. I will definitely go back in the future if needed.

I started as a patient of Dr. Afif years ago, then on one occasion, Angelo took me over. Angelo is a super creative and smart fellow, extremely fun to talk with and got excellent dental skills, too. He sincerely care about his patients and always willing to go one step further to make things gets done properly. Angelo pulled a wisdom tooth for me and it was a very smooth process, no pain, no infection, fast recovery, etc. I would highly recommend Dr. Poulos to my friends and family~!

I have been going to Dr. Poulos for a few months now, and each visit has been better than the last! I started off being fearful of going, because I had not gone to the dentist in years, but Dr. Poulos and his staff especially Nella made me feel very comfortable. They joked with me and calmed my fears. I needed a lot of work, and they have done most of it, and it has been totally painless, to the point where I don't mind going. The staff is also amazing and supportive, and everyone is having a good time, and they all work great together! Love them!

I don't mind Waterview dental, but I'm not a fan at all of Dr. Poulos...I feel he's trying to upsell on everything and like another poster stated recommends x-rays too often. Luckily the only times I've had to speak to him was when he does my checkup after a cleaning when Dr. Afif Is not around. My bf needed a bit of work on his teeth and because he was asked him to come back with a less expensive/less drastic option, he never followed up with him. My bf found another dentist to work with his needs and made him feel more comfortable.

I've been a patient of Dr. Poulos' for a few years now. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences here. From check-in to check-out everyone is pleasant, happy, and knowledgeable. As other reviewers here have said, it's actually fun coming to the dentist. Keep up the great work!

Truly a wonderful experience. As someone who treats each dental visit with nervousness and apprehension, Dr. Poulos and his team go above and beyond in providing gentle and thorough Dental care. Relaxing environment ? check. Time taken to answer all my questions ? check. Attentiveness ? check. Dr Poulos is amazing! I have had major work done, cosmetic along with other stuff and he really cares about his patients and his work. I get compliments on my smile everyday because of him and his team

I don't think you're supposed to have "fun" at the dentist, but somehow Dr. Angelo Poulos does it! I just came from an appt tonight and let me tell you...I have a long night of looking in the mirror! All jokes aside, Dr. Poulos consistently does an amazing job. Most dentists I've been to are stuffy and want to get their clients in and out. He genuinely wants to make sure the client is happy. I've had crowns, invisalign and bonding done on my teeth in the past 4 years i've been going to him. I never worry I'll leave with a less than perfect job. If you're looking for a personable perfectionist go see him!

My husband has been going to Waterview for years and finally convinced me to try it out (I hate going to the dentist). I went to Waterview last week and my first experience was great - the best experience I have ever had at the dentist, by far. The facilities are clean, modern and comfortable and the staff is really friendly and courteous. I usually loathe going to the dentist but Angelo is really gentle and explains everything to you before it happens. The dental hygienist I had was really considerate, gentle yet still thorough - I will absolutely be sticking with Angelo and his staff. They also give out the REAL big toothbrushes and not those dinky little ones where the bristles fall out in your mouth. A+.

Awesome Dentist. I had Dr.Poulos extract all 4 of my widom teeth. It was fast and painless.

I have been coming to Waterview Dental for the past 4 years. I recently referred my girlfriend to Dr. Poulos as well. We both feel the level of service and quality of denitstry is exceptional. We've been very happy... so happy that we continue to drive in after we moved from the area. He's got a great sense of humour and we both appreciate his concern. The office is very modern and I don't find his prices to be unreasonable compared to other offices in downtown Toronto. I particularly like that they submit the insurance codes to the insurance company. Highly recommended.

I am a 59 year old patient with serious dental issues. Dr. Poulos has looked after me for 5 years. I've never received better or kinder care in a life time of problems. Without exaggeration, Dr. Poulos is an exemplary doctor. His staff members demonstrate the same ethos. I cannot say enough about my appreciation for his work and his office.

I personally like Angelo's work. Its easy to tell how devoted he is to his work as soon as he sits with you to explain your situation and how he's gonna go about tackling your case. Try interacting with a few of downtown Toronto's dentists and then visit Angelo- you'll understand why he beats every one of them. To the reviewer below who thinks he's a crook: you wanna pay peanuts you're gonna get monkeys sir. His referrals to other Dr.'s shows how his focus always remains on what he does best ! Sure, he gets extremely busy during the day & sometimes u get a 'quicker' briefing, but he makes sure you're walking out feeling reassured and comfortable ! He actually gives his patients his cell#, email and accepts to see them on same-hour notice if needed. And if he isn't there he's got you covered at his (stylish) clinic with his partner who already knows your case. Now find me anyone in the GTA who can beat this. As another waiting patient once put it: "He da man !"

Am I the only one that thinks this guy is a crook? The first time I went in there he lamented that my teeth were too good and he wouldn't make any money off me. Then as he was walking out, he told me under his breath that I would have to replace a filling because it was "old" even though the only other filling I have was done at the same time. I decided not to get it right away and magically the problem went away and it was never brought up again. The next time I was there, he decided to refer me to a periodontist for receding gums. My gums are fine and there is only 1 tooth where it is barely receding. He also charged me over $200 for a simple cleaning and wants to do x-rays way too often. He may be good technically (I wouldn't know since I refused his filling renewal) but he's also way too good at squeezing every penny out of my insurance company. It seems he cares more about making himself rich than the comfort of his patients. I don't recommend him.

Most talented dentist. I actually think he might be a magician. Fillings - done painlessly and SO QUICK. Cosmetic - done with precision. Have never had a better dentist.

The office is great! I've recently changed from my dentist and can't believe the level of service I've received. The decor is modern, the equipment is very the most up to date, the staff very attentive. I felt very much at ease. Dr. Poulos spent time explaining my options and making sure I understood them all. Would never go to another dental office. Can't praise this office enough!

Dr. Poulos is a great dentist. Very knowledgeable and professional. His work is class A. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist.
