Dr. Shikaram did an excellent job with my 2-year-old. She spent a lot of time with him playing with a hand puppet and letting him pick out a new toothbrush. She didn’t push things at all when he got nervous about the tools that made noises - she just did what he would let her do. That was the most important thing to me - that things went smoothly enough that it wouldn’t be a struggle to keep bringing him in.
