Dr. Lisa Lam, is a trusted and highly-rated local dentist at South San Francisco Dental Care. She joined us in 2016, after searching for a practice with a team of dentists and staff who shared her commitment to providing high quality dentistry and customer service to patients. Dr. Lam grew up in nearby Monterey, CA, where in high school she interned at a dental office that inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry. She credits the dentists there for unlocking her interest in the science behind the art of dentistry. After receiving her Biochemistry and Biology degree at UC Davis, she went on to receive her dental degree from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2008. Now back in the Bay Area and with over 10 years of dental experience, she still loves meeting her patients who come from all walks of life, and helping them reach their individuals goals. Patients speak highly of her calm manner, gentle touch and confident dentistry. Outside of work, you will find Dr. Lam enjoying a game of tennis or badminton, hiking up Bay Area trails or trying out new cuisines. She and her husband are proud parents of a new baby girl. They are happy to call the bay area home with it's nearby ocean, rolling hills and charming farmlands.
