Dr. Jillian Helene Smith

I moved to Boston, Massachusetts, in 2013 and quickly made my mark in the dental community. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Saint Louis University where I was a four-year member of the women’s swim team. After finishing my undergraduate education, I earned my DDS degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have completed several continuing education courses in restorative dentistry, Invisalign and Botox and am currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. In my spare time, I enjoy my dogs, spending time around my Charlestown apartment and running. As an avid runner, I have participated in many races in and around the Massachusetts area.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I take great pride in continuing education so that my patients experience the most advanced dental care available in the Greater Boston area. My goal is to make each patient feel that I am an expert and advocate for their oral, as well as, overall health. My personal goal is to make sure that each patient leaves feeling not just like a patient, but also a friend.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

1. Restoring decayed teeth, teeth with old fillings (silver or white) and fractured teeth using all-white restorative materials. 2. Full mouth and smile reconstruction for increased function and esthetics. 3. Botox injections to prevent clenching/grinding and increase full-facial esthetics.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud of my educated, enthusiastic and hardworking group of staff, assistants and hygienists that ensure all of our patients are taken care of and leave the office happy with their experience. I am proud to be able to offer the most up-to-date technology and equipment that allows for a pain-free and comfortable experience for all of our patients.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy treating a variety of patients, ranging from a small front tooth filling to restoring an entire smile. My personal joy comes from making a person more confident in themselves and their smile, which directly affects their overall happiness as an individual. Each patient has a different focus or concern when they walk in the door and it is my duty to ensure that they leave feeling happy and healthy and with their concerns answered or met to the fullest of my ability.
