John Shoemaker's Practice

Dr. shoemaker has been treating patients in the Texoma area for over 30 years. He is a general dentist who treats the simplest of dental needs to the most complex dental cases. His 30 plus years of implant dentistry makes him an expert in the field. He and his specially trained staff care for the patient from the moment they enter his office. Each patient realizes they have become a special part of a dental family where their needs come first! From cleanings, dentures,smile makeovers, to complex reconstruction of a patient's mouth Dr. Shoemaker's office can restore the patient to their best dental health. Oral and IV sedation (sleep dentistry) is available for patients when necessary. All of our procedures are performed at our Sherman office location. What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?

Dr. Shoemaker has been a general dentist in the Texoma area for 37 years. He had been placing implants for over 30 years and is the only Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist's in the area. He is also a fellow with the Misch International Implant Institute. His office is centered on you the patient. We focus on prevention and health as opposed to one that emphasizes emergency and repair care. With Dr. Shoemaker's extensive continuing education. our office is frequently able to provide all the services needed to restore your mouth to an optimum condition. Our team members are highly trained and dedicated to making a difference for each patient that we are priviledged to serve. There is no question too small or insignificant for us to answer. We are a solo practice and you will see only Dr. Shoemaker for your dental care. We offer oral medication, nitrous oxide, and or conscious IV sedation when necessary for your dental needs.

Our dental office is unique as we are treating our patient's for lifetime dental results. Dr. Shoemaker always wants to have a dental plan before starting dental treatment so that with every procedure we know how it will effect the patient's dental care and his/her overall health in the future. Our patient's become like family! Our best days in our office is when we see the final results of a large treatment and how it has changed our patient's life!
