I graduated from the University of California, San Francisco Dental School in 2004. After dental school, I joined the Navy Dental Corp and was stationed in Japan and then in Oak Harbor, WA. During my four year Naval term, I trained rigorously as a general dentist, while also completing several specialty rotations, including Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Since departing the Navy, I have continued my love of dentistry by working as an associate for some very talented dentists locally, while also taking extensive continuing education courses through my association with organizations like the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Spear Education. I am dedicated to providing my patients with the highest quality of care and will continue to keep up to date on the latest dental materials and technology in order to help my patients attain and maintain their healthy smiles.

I hadn't been to the dentist in 5 years, between moving and just generally avoiding adult responsibilities. I saw open care had a gift card for going to the dentist, figured it was finally time to go. Dr. Margoles was amazing, incredibly patient and explained what she was doing and what that means for me and my teeth every step of the way. Office staff was excellent as well! 5/5 would highly recommend her.

She was a straight shooter. I have no insurance and it was a good 350 dollar visit with xrays and cleaning. It was the owner doing the work. Parking and only patient in office made it 1.5 hrs. Worth it.

Dr. Sandy and her assistant Debbie are amazing! Lake Union Dentistry is a small 2-person operation, but they make up for it with great service. Dr. Sandy is extremely smart and thorough. She takes extra time to explain all the details, so patients come out with a better understanding of their dental health. I will definitely be back!

Dr. Sandy and Debbie are a great team. My old dentist only saw me only after the cleaning was done for a few minutes to review, and could never easily change my appointment. Not this place, Dr. Sandy does all the cleaning and any work that may need to be done; she is on the conservative side and will not pressure you. She is gentle and thorough, and has an up to date electronic charting system. I have been a patient since she started this practice, and when I told her I got engaged she offered free whitening or to fix a slightly chipped bridge for the photos. They are both so nice to work with, I can change my appointment easily. Price is reasonable for such a great small/personalized operation.

Dr Sandy is a modern skilled dentist who has taken care of me and my mature teeth painlessly, effectively. And on one occasion where a front tooth just cracked, she was able to see me within a day and make a magic repair Dr Sandy is a thoughtful professional using the most modern techniques as do her staff and assistants. I feel so so lucky to have her as my dentist.

Dr. Sandy is friendly and smart. She provides easy to understand guidance regarding regular dental care, and my gums are already improving based on following her recommendations. Free parking and a view of Lake Union are also nice benefits. If you are looking for a dentist, call Dr. Sandy!
