Dr. Nadia Aboulhosn uses her dental experience to provide the highest level of dental care in a gentle, compassionate manner. She was born and raised in Brazil and has always been passionate about healthcare and loves interacting with patients. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and completed 3 years of Medical School before earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Washington in 2009. She continues her education and keeps up-to-date with changes in dentistry by attending continuing education courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and being a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Snohomish County Dental Society.

The practice has computer monitors in front of the patient chairs so you can see your x-rays and other information, which was very nice. I took off one star for the following reason: I had the first appointment of the day at 7am. The office is located in a secured building with a note on the door. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment as requested by the office. When I called the number on the note, nobody answered the phone. I had to wait outside for 10 minutes. I suggest the office tell patients with 7am appointments to arrive at exactly 7am. Everything else is good. The office is nice and clean. Dr. Nadia explained in detail about the problem and also guided me well on the upcoming plan and shared her suggestions. She made me comfortable and made sure I was informed of every step of the process. Anytime the dental exam was getting uncomfortable, I could easily raise concerns and take a break. She was good in easing out my fears of visiting the dentist. I am very satisfied with my visit. I am a very nervous patient when it comes to visiting the dentist and I have never been treated with such kindness, care, diligence and understanding from the receptionist to Dr. Nadia herself. Dr. Nadia made me feel like I was an important patient and sat down with me to really talk through the work I needed to get done and get to know me as a new patient. I recently got two crowns done here, it was painless and they gave me headphones and Netflix to watch on a screen above the chair! On top of that I didn’t feel judged for feeling shaky/nervous or for the state my teeth were in when I visited. Icon Dental Center is also very clean and has a really nice modern design, you can tell they have the best of the best here. My visit was very straight forward and efficient. I filled out all my info on an iPad and much of it was auto-populated because of OpenCare. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The dental hygienist was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The dentist was very nice and knowledgable, Nadia provided the necessary info to pick the best possible option. She took time to sit down and ask me questions about my life, she explained everything in just the right amount of detail, and even helped to make it possible for me to get braces—something I never thought I’d be able to afford! The dental hygienist and the receptionist were both just as fantastic! In terms of COVID precautions, they clearly take it very seriously and I felt very safe.
