There was no pain because she was gentle but with enough force, just the perfect amount. They reopened just in time for my appointment so I ended up staying longer than expected as I had to stand around and wait for 20 minutes. Aside from that small inconvenience, the experience was great. The waiting room was very comfortable. Everyone was very nice and accommodating during my appointment. The initial technician took x-rays because it was my first visit and helped me understand why certain things were painful 4/5 - this seemed understaffed as technician was balancing multiple patients and appeared rushed/stressed. The main dentist gave me a cleaning and helped me understand what was going on, how to plan with preventative care and best practices, 5/5. The only pain point was the front desk rushed through an explanation of charges, insurance coverage and out of pocket for planning and never gave me a statement of it. Both the hygenist and dentist were extremely careful, thorough, and explained their entire process -- what they were doing, why they were doing things, and what it would benefit me. I needed a small procedure (incipient / pre-cavity filling) and they provided the pricing and the option to perform the procedure right there. The whole X-Ray, cleaning, and filling took no more than 2 hours from arrival, which was incredibly convenient.
