Dr. Neha Tamhane

Dr. Neha Tamhane specializes in periodontal plastic surgery, dental implant therapy, and the management of oral inflammation. She is dedicated to improving patients' oral health and providing optimal dental care. She grew up in the Bay Area and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Tamhane was involved with public health outreach in local underserved communities through UCSF's Community Dental Clinic and the Give Kids a Smile program. She continued her dental education at UCSF, where she earned a Masters of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences and a Certificate of Periodontology. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Tamhane also continues to share knowledge with the next generation of dentists as a volunteer clinical professor at UCSF. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Francisco Dental Society.
