I loved my visit to Daniel D. Barry. The hygienist was very thorough with my cleaning and very fun to talk to. Doctor Barry gave me great advice on what he thinks my teeth need over the next year and did not pressure me into anything at the time. He also gave me some good life advice which was appreciated. 10/10 recommend

Friendly and efficient office. My appointment started right on time. Monica, the hygienist, took her time during the cleaning. And Dr. Barry was fantastic -- explaining my treatment plan clearly.

Dr. Daniel D. Barry was detailed in his cleaning and helpful in showing how to take care of my teeth. He also is really funny! Great bedside manner and very lively. The hygenist was also thorough and quick.

I have been a patient of Dr Barry's for 6 years. After previous dentists who were rushed and cleanings were painful, Dr Barry and his office staff were a breath of fresh air. Literally..Caring office who cares about their patients health. Very proactive in preventing gum disease. The hygienists have all been there forever and are amazing for cleanings. Highly recommend this office and Dr Barry!

I have gone to Dr. Barry for about 20 years and he is great. Always relaxed and friendly and does not suggest crazy expensive options for my teeth. Their staff is also really nice especially Corinne and also Dr. Barry's assistant. They always help me feel less nervous. Dental insurance billing is difficult but I always just wait for my letter from Delta and then I pay whatever they say and it works out in the end. Dr. Barry and his staff treat you like a person, not like a case in a medical book. He even remembers things I told him years ago about my dental treatments as a child, and I appreciate that.

I love coming to visit Dr. Barry. Not only is the service prompt and efficient, they also take a genuine interest in how you're doing and what's going on in your life. Dr. Barry is very approachable and honest about your personal dental health. The staff is also very kind and professional, I would recommend Dr. Barry if you are looking for a dentist in SF. The convenient location makes it ideal if you have a busy schedule / work in downtown SF.

Dr. Barry was made my visit really great. I am a new patient of his, and he actually taught me a few things about my teeth that I did not know. His staff was very helpful and extremely efficient. They sent me the paperwork to fill out via email a few days before and followed up with me so that I did not have to spend extra time in office doing so. They were familiar with my insurance and made the visit very easy. Would recommend!

I chipped a tooth last evening as was able to call Dr. Daniel Barry III office today and got in. Dr. Barry explained that it was just a small part of a bridge that was cosmetic and that I did not have to replace it saving me money. I have been going to Dr. Barry for over 25 years. I was one of the one's who did not brush or floss regularly and needed lots of dental work. I have had the complete range of dental work from cavities, bridges to implants with Dr. Barry. I am extremely happy with the work he has done and he his extremely professional throughout these years. Dr. Barry take pride in his work and realizes that your teeth are indicators for your body and overall well being. He will take the time to listen and work out a dental plan that works for you. It is rare to find doctors who are compassionate, kind, honest and most importantly trustworthy. I have recommended Dr. Daniel Barry to other friends who are equally happy with his work and some travel as far away as Concord, CA just to see him. A shout out to both the dental hygienist and the front office personnel who have been there for many years. This is a family dental practice with Dr. Daniel Barry's brother Kevin R Barry DDS practicing in the same office on the 7th floor. Doctor Daniel and Kevin's father was also a dentist in San Francisco and has past on the same values, respect and professionalism onto his sons. I have been a patient of Daniel D. Barry, III for many years. He has helped me with regular cleanings, fillings, a crown, whitening, and veneers. I have recommended him to friends and family. I am recommending him here on Yelp without hesitation. By a wide margin, Daniel D. Barry, III is the absolute best dentist I have ever experienced. It is obvious that he loves what he does and that he is curious about new techniques. His depth of knowledge and ability to clearly describe treatments and procedures are impressive and inspire confidence.

I have been seeing Dr. Daniel Barry for almost four years now. His staff has always been very accommodating with my cleanings and worked to get appointments that fit my schedule. Ivonne has been an excellent hygienist and Dr. Barry is never judgmental about the advice he gives. Corinne behind the front desk always helps sort out the payments and makes insurance issues go away. It's a strong team. This past October I was assaulted and had my four front teeth broken, two down to the roots. This happened on a Saturday night. The following day I called Dr. Barry and he went out of his way to come into the office on a Sunday night to see me. He was very caring and we worked through the trauma in the best way that we could. After that first meeting Dr. Barry was with me every step of the way, from recommending Dr. Fulton Yee for my root canals, to helping me design the perfect smile, and finally to restoring my mouth to what it once was. In my experience, his care for his patients and the quality of the work that he does is unmatched. I've recommended several friends to this office and will continue to as long as I am in San Francisco.
