The facilities were okay and staff was friendly

I went to Bayly Dental Clinic for a check-up and cleaning. The dental assistant was excellent — very thorough in explaining my dental issues and preventative measures. The cleaning itself was as painless as possible, and both the assistant and dentist were very friendly and professional. The dentist also did a great job clearly explaining my treatment needs for the future. However, I was very disappointed with the front desk communication. Prior to my appointment, I confirmed both over the phone and by email that my treatment would be fully covered by my dental benefits. Despite this, after my appointment I was unexpectedly told I owed $390 for scans that were not covered. This miscommunication should have been avoided, especially since I made the effort to confirm coverage ahead of time. While I was happy with the treatment itself, the poor communication from the front desk left me very frustrated with the overall experience.

Good patient care. Was my first treatment they were transparent with their payments and what it would mean for my insurance coverage. The procedure was smooth and they explained everything without any added pressure to take any more unwanted procedures.

It was my first time going to a dental clinic in Canada and Bayly Dental Clinic didn’t disappoint! It was a wonderful first time experience and staff were all friendly and helpful. They also do direct billing on insurance which is very helpful and less work for patients so I’ll give them a 10/10!

I had a cleaning today and had a great experience! Receptionist Romeo was welcoming and friendly, and my dental hygienist Danelle was absolutely amazing. Unlike past experiences at other clinics, Danelle was incredibly thorough and she took the time to explain how I can better care for my teeth and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I really appreciated her friendly and attentive approach. Highly recommend!
