Dr. Megan R. Borak grew up in Huntington, West Virginia, where she attended undergraduate studies at Marshall University, and attended dental school at West Virginia University School of Dentistry in Morgantown, WV. She has recently relocated to Austin, TX with her boyfriend, Jordan. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and takes continuing education throughout the year to keep current in the ever advancing profession of dentistry. She believes that it is important to comprehensively and conservatively treat patients with care while having their values in mind and having fun! Dr. Borak loves to work with apprehensive patients and change their mindset to a positive experience; laughter is a key part to your dental exam and “being afraid of the dentist” is a thing of the past! Dr. Borak loves to give back to the community through service opportunities, and has participated in global missions trips across the world. When not in the office, Dr. Borak enjoys traveling, hiking, being outdoors, hanging out with her niece; Scarlett, cooking, eating all of the awesome food that Austin has to offer, catching up with friends and family, and cheering for her favorite sports teams (Go Mountaineers!).
It had been several decades since my mug had graced a dental office, and when I looked about, through all the possibilities in the Bastrop area, I took a chance on Signature Smiles. And I couldn't be happier! My dentist, Dr. Borak, and the staff are fantastic people to deal with. Tiffany, Pam, Brianna, Heather and Leticia are just some of the wonderful reasons to go. Everyone needs help from time to time, and even though I'm a scardy cat, these amazing people took me through my options and needs with a level of professional, courteous, compassionate and funny resolve that made my experience a blessing. Thank you all, and I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

I like Mrs borack I've been there before in the past and never wanted to come back but Mrs borack changed my mind and I wouldn't let anyone else work on me she checked on me the whole time during my procedure and she truly cares and it definitely shows I have lots more work fodo and she will be the one to do if Now I tried another dentist because I had a tooth hanging on and mrs borack was not there so sadly I had another dentist I would give 2 maybe 3 stars I felt like he was impatient with me when I started breathing through my nose like he asked he stopped what he was doing and told me I needed to calm down that he hadn't started doing any real work yet I shouldn't be acting the way I was and truth be told I was nervous and I have bad anxiety and instead of him getting frustrated with me I needed some understanding like I said before and I definitely mean it I will not let anyone else touch my teeth EXCEPT Mrs borack and if it weren't for Heather (a wonderful lady who helps out) I probably would have left but Heather and the rest of the girls that were there were very nice and polite and they are definitely try to understand my situation with being pregnant they are willing to work with me to get all my work done by my birthday and trust I need lots of work done and they bend over backwards to make sure I'm comfortable and so does Mrs borack and my next appointment is with her. Can't wait to get back to it Thank you signature smiles I appreciate it
