Dr. Kamel has been operating a successful private dental practice in Kanata, Ontario since 1995. He brings a broad range of knowledge to his practice after a 1-year residency at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, and extensive continuous training in a variety of areas within dentistry.

Dr. Kamel helped me in a time where I needed urgent care - and did it with grace and precision. I required a root canal and other cosmetic work. On arrival, I was presented with a professional atmosphere, the chance to ask all the questions I wanted with clear and concise answers. I was nervous going in after years of horror stories about the pain involved in the procedures I required. I literally felt nothing the entire procedure. In such admiration of his work I bravely did the other cosmetic work in my mouth with no sedation to the local areas. Impressively I still had no pain management issues and was done that work in under 20 minutes. I'm now a few hours out of my procedures this morning - eating and chewing as if I haven't had any work done at all. Kudos to Dr. Kamel and all his staff. I'll be returning to complete all my work here - and recommending them to everyone I hear needs assistance with their smiles.

WOW! Nothing more can be said - from the office staff, to the assistants to Dr. Kamel himself, this office delivers well above expectations! I had a root canal today and I can't believe that Dr. Kamel was able to do what needed to be done without it hurting! I even fell asleep a few times during the procedure. Who can say that about dental work?!! Gentle words, caring gestures and extraordinary competence. If you are looking for a Dentist and a team who cares and demonstrates it in action and deed, give this office a call. You will not be disappointed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kamel's for many years. I find him to be professional, courteous, and very considerate of my concerns. He has always offered options for needed dental work and explains the pros and cons of each procedure. The office atmosphere is friendly and upbeat, from the always welcoming receptionist to the dental assistants and hygienists, to Dr. Kamel himself. I like the fact that he seems to keep up with new technology and approaches that, from my perspective in the chair, have both simplified and expedited the work.

I've been to many dentists in my life but Dr. Kamel was like no other. He took the time to explain what was happening and gave me options as to what I could do. He was sympathetic and understanding, I felt very comfortable. He had a very gentle touch and Amanda his assistant was very warm and friendly and put me at ease. As dentist, receptionist and hygienist, Dr Kamel, Chantal and Kacia are a team worthy of praise. They each contribute to making each of my visits to the dentist memorable in a good way. They are courteous, caring and very knowledgeable. It is quite evident that they enjoy their work.

My family and I have been with Dr. Kamel and his office for 3 years now. I consider it a privilege to be under his care. Dr. Kamel has shown that he truly has our best interest at heart. He completed veneers on me and I love how natural they look. The staff has been warm and goes the extra mile to help. My family loves going there because we don't feel like we are a number but that they truly care about each of us. Thank you Dr. Kamel and to your great staff.

I've been going to this dentist for years and find him very professional. His staff is great too. I first went to him when I was unhappy with another dentist. He seems to use the latest equipment.

My first visit to Dr. Kamel was fantastic...he was so thorough and knowledgeable. The special little touches like complimentary lip balm show how attentive the office is to making sure their patients are well looked after. Like many, I'm not a fan of going to the dentist, but Dr. Kamel and his fabulous staff put me at ease, and I wish I'd known about his office years ago! Follow up visit for a cleaning was every bit as excellent as the first trip, and I'm very comfortable recommending the office to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kamel's for many years and have had, in my opinion, the best possible care. Dr. Kamel is professional and ethical and it angers me to see these character assassintation reviews. No matter who you see for dental care, it is not cheap - get over it. After living in Toronto for 8 years we have returned to Ottawa and felt no need to look for any other Dentist, we specifically sought out Dr. Kamel. I trust my family's dental care to no one else, have never felt pressured and have always been satisfied with the work done. Dr. Kamel's staff are the cream of the crop and patient CARE is their number one priority. Until Dental care is recognized as essential and covered by OHIP we all have to pay the price. Get over it people. And give a good Dentist a break.

If you want to spend lots of money and have unnecessary procedures this is the place for you. They push their procedures. For my firt vist I spent two and a half hours for just x-rays and a consultation... Dr. Kamel is all about making a dollar and will do anything to do so. Staff is very friendly but Dr. Kamel is odd... Also whatever they do is much more painful then any other dentist I have been too. I will never go back.

Tried him because he was close to my office. Unfortunately he pushed procedures that my previous dentist didn't. I felt he was trying to intimidate me to get it done. I don't like that approach.

***I check this site for my md, dentist, etc. Dr.Kamel had two great reviews over the last two months - where did they go? This man is being run into the ground with unjust cause.*** I'm a big chicken and haven't been to the dentist in years. I booked my appointment via email through his website. I met Dr.Kamel, his Assistant, and one of his Hygienists within a week. It seems as though his staff was bred from the same gene pool - all are bubbly, friendly, and always smiling! One word to describe my overall experience: WOW. This dental office is a step above the rest. Dr.Kamel offered me treatment options, providing me with risks, benefits, and alternatives of treatment. They showed me pictures of me teeth on a big screen TV... neat! I had no idea what my top back teeth looked like until then. I had a ceramic filling this week - terrific experience. Didn't even feel the poke when he froze my mouth! A-1, classy establishment.

Not recommended after 2 years of experience with Dr. Kamel. I simply do not trust his options or suggestions regarding dental care. It seems he is after the most money he can get out of a procedure and will pressure his clients to go for the most expensive solutions every time. We have had second opinions that have verified this. We will look for another dentist.

I would only recommend anyone NOT to go to this dentist. His staff only tries to sale you things and he is by far, the worse dentist. I waited 30 mins just to brought into a room with the "treatment coordinator" and all she did was try and sale me fillings that are not even covered under my insurance. I agree, someone report him.

This dentist only see $$ signs when you walk into his office. I needed to have my tooth pulled about a month ago and he talked me into having a root canal. He put a cap on it right away and charged me over $2000. He didn't speak to me about how much it would cost, he made his secratary do it. She only wanted to sell me on this treatment. The tooth ended up getting more infected and I had another dentist pull it. Someone should report this so called dentist, he sucks. He is good at taking money

I have been seeing Dr.Kamel for about 2 years and I have had nothing but the best treatment from him. As a doctor myself, I can assure you that he is a perfectionist and does only quality work. I have recommended my family to him. His staff is helpful and wonderful, starting from Angie - Kelly - Rose.

I felt a fair amount of pinching at my gumline after he "repaired" a filling for me, and I couldn't floss between the teeth anymore after the repair. It turns out that he had decided to FUSE two of my teeth together, and it has inflamed my gums to a chronic pain point. I'm having the work repaired. Not by him. Nice location. I expected more modern equipment than what they had.

Not a good experience, I had number root canals and they all have problem now, I questioned him about it and did not get an answer. My dental cleanings weren’t done properly. He changes his staff very fast. Stopped going to him and I would not recommend him at all.
