I was refered by my dentist for gum related issues. Mr Gelfand suggested to do deep cleaning and few follow up cleanings. After 1600$ and 4 appointments later I was told that we should go ahead and remove the teeth. And by the way new cost is around 6000$ with temporary dentures.In this price I could have had implants feom somewhere else...

I just had a gum graft & Dr. Gelfand noticed a greyish white lesion in my mouth, possibly lichen planus but wanted to biopsy to be sure. I didn't know what this skin condition was & right away he looked at it & suggested this. That saved me wasting tons of time @ the gp, dermatologist etc. I was at the dentist the day before & was examined there. Nothing was noticed by hygenist or dentist. I couldn't find the lesion he wants to biopsy so i was concerned about having an unnecessary procedure on top of the gum graft but now I c it. I think he is thorough & i'm glad he picked up on it. He is also very personable w a great beside manner. reassuring, comforting, kind & competent. U rarely get a dr w those credentials!

Unbelievaly knowlegable and caring Doctor> The staff are always polite and professional and can make the biggest Dental phobe feel comfortable and at ease. He always takes the time to answer all of my questions and explains everything so i can understand it. The least intimidating Doctor i have ever been referred to, His assistant is fantastic and works exremely well with him ! i would definately refer my family and friends to him.

Dr Gelfand has done incredible "pain free" periodontic work on both uppers and one lower side. His staff has done a great job of scaling as part of my efforts to keep my gums healthy. He continues to monitor my oral health.

I have only been to Dr.Gelfand a few times, to treat gum problems.He is one of the most pleasant medical person, I have ever seen.He shares an office with another dentist and they are busy,but always on time.The entire staff seems very pleasant and happy.It truly is a good experience going to see him.My gums have gotten so much healthier,after visiting Dr.Gelfand and his hygenists.

Dr. Gelfand is a very knowledgeable and personable dentist. His specialty is periodontics. I have been a patient for years and my gums are healthy thanks to frequent cleanings by his friendly dental hygenists.
