Gerald Allen Boyko

I saw Dr. Gerald A. Boyko for tooth extraction prior to the actual dental implant. He looked rather stern when I first saw him for the consultation which had me concerned since I heard that tooth extraction and implant could be painful procedures. However the strong sense of self-confidence and knowledge Dr. Boyko displayed gave me the reassurance to continue with the treatment. The extraction was un-expectedly painless; I had a local freezing only. Dr. Boyko was very gentle and very careful during the whole extraction. Very good communication between doctor and patient was maintained during the whole procedure. There was not much pain post-extraction. And after one Advil all pain had disappeared. I am 61 years of age and have seldom heard that a tooth extraction could be so easy and painless. Hopefully the dental implant which will take place 4 months from now will be as successful as the extraction.
