About
Hi! I am Dr. Charles Blumenfeld and I am the principal dentist of the office. I have been a community dentist for over 34 years in several offices in the GTA. I would like to welcome you to our office, but first of all, I want to introduce myself. My practice consists of comprehensive and multi-disciplined dentistry. I graduated from the University Of Toronto Faculty Of Dentistry in 1982 with an Honours B.Sc. and DDS degree. One of the things I find most important in my practice is my patient's comfort. This is why I have been licensed by the RCDSO to provide IV sedation. It allows me to provide dentistry for numerous of people that are afraid to go to the dentist and for those requiring various surgical procedures, such as Wisdom Teeth extraction, gum surgery, root canal, and implants.

Our practice provides affordable access to Invisalign, a complimentary whitening with every new patient exam, and free parking.
What are you proud of in your practice?
I am really proud of the team that we have built over the years. Because of my team and my constant focus on additional education, I am able to provide the latest techniques in dentistry to my patients. In other words, there is very little that we need to refer out. Patients can have all their procedures in a familiar environment provided by me or a member of my team.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
Even though I enjoy treating every patient that comes to our office, I especially focus on Implant Dentistry. I have obtained an Associate Fellowship from the AAID, a Fellowship from the Misch Implant Institute and both my Fellowship and Diplomate from the ICOI. I currently have over 30 years of experience in both the surgical placement and restoration of implants. In addition, I really enjoy orthodontics and Invisalign.

The office was bright and modern and gave me the feeling I was in a state of the art building and I was putting my smile in the hands of experienced professionals. Dr. Blumenfeld and his team equipped me with general knowledge about dental hygeine, took measurements of my teeth, took bite xrays and cleaned my teeth as one would suspect, but I was most impressed with how transparent they were with me about my dental health. They explained through every step of the process, what they were going to do, why they were doing it and what it meant for my smile. It was eye opening and refreshing to finally see what the dentist sees, to understand the good the bad and the ugly and be equipped with the tools to improve my routine for overall better health. They took a holistic approach to their assessment and educated me on the impacts that diet has on dental hygeine and andrea overall health, including your immune system and even your skin. It was astounding to me that I never knew this before, and that no dentist had ever been so candid. They even personalized my cleaning experience to the individual needs of my smile which was amazing to see. By the time I was ready to leave I felt right at home, like I'd been visiting them for years. It was a smooth checkin and checkout process and they dealt directly with my insurance to make things easier. I have spent my entire life visiting the dentist, have had very few cavities and thanks to braces have a smile to be proud of, but for the first time I feel like I have made the right step in the right direction towards better dental health and overall better health.
