Gerry Sokalsky

Gerry is a great guy and an excellent dentist. Minimal pain and top results. I've been amazed at some of the repair work he's done. He is friendly and professional and his staff are long time loyal and lovely people.

Dr Sokalsky has been my dentist for over 20 years and he is amazing! I have had to visit other dentists during my time away at college and university and it really made me grateful for him and the work he does. Always has a smile on his face, always punctual, and I always leave smiling. Couldn't ask for a better dentist!

In 30 years of cleanings and checkups, I've just had one cavity filled.

He consistently runs late and tends to overbook patients. Before his practice became too busy, he was better but recently he's become more difficult to book appointments and running late leading to careless dentistry. He used to be much better. Visits are rushed with him and the hygienists. The hygienists can also be rough even after advising them of tooth sensitivities.

I asked him to fix a cracked tooth. But after one hour I found out that he filled other two teeth which I didn't ask for. I was having a constant pain in one of those teeth after the treatment. In couple of weeks I ended up in dental emergency with inflamed root. They told me that Dr. Sokalsky just covered the tooth and left the root canal open. Cost me extra $1000 dollars for fixing the tooth that was perfectly fine before.

I was told by another dentist I needed 16 cavities filled - I asked for payment plan and was told they can do some work on a pay as you go plan (Not really a plan, is it?). I wanted all the work done at once so I contacted Dr. Sokalsky. He asked me to come in for an assessment. Thanks Doc. Then he gave me the news, saying "Al, today's not the day I'm going to get rich, you only have 4 cavities." Great work, Amazing staff, and Honest. Dr. Sokalsky, treats my two children and they really enjoy seeing him and his team. He is a fantastic Dentist.

Dr. Gerry is awesome and I enjoy having him as a dentist. The staff sometimes are having a bad day and give me grief about flossing but otherwise are good to deal with.

This is the best dentist in the GTA hands down! He knows what he's doing, is honest, gives you options, is confident, calm and makes you smile. The staff is amazing too! His assistant Kim is very caring and kind and puts you at ease if you're nervous about treatment. I've been to other dentists and Dr. Sokalsky is the best by far. I have now been a patient for a few years and I am very satisfied :)

I'm a person with a long history of despising my trips to the dentist; however, I can't say I feel the same way since I started going to Dr. Sokalsky a few years back. The staff is friendly and courteous, and Dr. Sokalsky is a pleasure to deal with. Avoiding the dentist is no longer something that I do!

I have been going to Dr. Sokalsky since I was a kid. He makes the experience of seeing the dentist less intimidating and I have confidence in his skills and knowledge. He takes the time to listen and explains his procedures and the options thoroughly. The entire staff team is great and I would not go anywhere else!

Dr. Sokalsky is very knowledgable and has quite a calming and confident nature. He makes sure that I know exactly what is going on with my teeth, even just during a regular checkup. The office is clean and organized and the staff are all so personable. I have encouraged many friends to switch dentists to Dr. Sokalsky and they are all happy with him.

Gerry is a great guy and a great denstist, When I was a kid i wanted to be a desntist because of him. He is very prefessional and talented when I've had tooth issue I've always been amzed at how well he fixes the issue.

I have been going to see Gerry for almost 40 years (39 1/2). He is the best!! Very knowledgeable, informed, great sense of humour always putting you at ease. He discusses all the options and is always accommodating when you need him in emergencies. I moved out of the city many many years ago but would not consider going to anyone else. My children are now grown up and still see Gerry regularly even though they do not live locally either. Great Dentist, Great Man!!! We love you Gerry!!

I've been going to Dr. Sokalsky for over 30 years. I lived in Brampton and worked in downtown Toronto and now live in Niagara-on-the-Lake and still go back. He explains things, is professional and up-to-date and the overall experience in the office is fantastic. Hygienists and office staff are great too, especially Marcia!

If you don't mind hearing the same jokes every visit, I highly recommend Dr. Sokalsky. All of our family members go to him. We view him as a professional -- stays current with his knowledge and peers, runs his business with a customer service approach, and provides excellent, careful staff who have longevity with Dr. Sokalsky. He even has staff who specialized in children when our children were young. When we ask an opinion we know we are getting expert advice. Although Sheppard and Yonge sounds like a 'busy' area, you can approach the building from several streets and they offer free underground parking for patients. Subway access, too.

I was lucky enough to have a sister who went to a great Dentist,Dr. Sakolsky.I have been seeing him since we moved to Canada 8 years ago. To say that he is kind and funny is an understatement. He puts you at ease and tells you what he is doing before it occures. The staff=Marcia specifically is a doll. If ever you have an emergency, Marcia is your girl always squeezing you in,no worries.

I've been going to Gerry for over twenty years now. Because I am a professional trumpet player, my livelihood depends on sound teeth (pun intended!). He and his consistently upbeat staff give the time to explain any situations thoroughly and patiently. The premises is also very bright and tidy, and adds to the overall experience. Kudos to Gerry and his peeps!!

I've been going to Dr. Sokalsky all my life, and I've been consistently satisfied with his skill and chairside manner. I especially like the way he'll discuss your options with you; he makes sure you're making informed decisions about your own health.

I've been going to this doctor since I was a teenager, for 18 years and now my son goes to him. Recently my 3 year old son had 6 cavities done in a single sitting and he left with the happiest feeling ever, zero fear of dentists, all thanks to Dr. Sokalsky! He is definitely #1!

Dr. Sokalsky is the most amazing dentist I have ever used - caring, funny, professional, highly skilled, and honest. He is a pleasure to see, even for those who dislike going to the dentist. He is equally adept at putting adults and children at ease. I can't imagine ever using another dentist. He's simply the best.
