Dr. Yoonah Danskin is a board certified periodontist and dental implant surgeon, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She aims to create a stable foundation for a beautiful and healthy smile and believes in personalized treatment plans that are tailored to individual needs. Her team takes great pride in delivering quality care. She practices all aspects of periodontal therapy including treatment of periodontal disease, laser therapy, precise implant placement, extraction, and bone regeneration. She performs aesthetic procedures including treatment of recession, gummy smiles, and full mouth rehabilitation. She also specializes in dental management of oncology patients. Dr. Danskin was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in Brooklyn. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University, and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCLA. She received post-doctoral training in General Practice Residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital, and received a certificate in Dental Oncology Fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She completed a residency in periodontology and surgical implantology at the New York branch of the Veteran Affairs Hospital in concert with New York University and graduated with the Dennis Tarnow Clinical Excellence Award and the Northeastern Society of Periodontists Case Report Award.
