Barnett Geller, DDS, FAGD, is an experienced dentist, providing comprehensive oral health care to adults living in and around Midtown Manhattan and throughout New York City. Dr. Geller earned his dental degree from the New York University College of Dentistry in New York City. After graduation, he remained in NYC and completed a residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital. There, he also served as a clinical professor in the crown and bridge department. Before entering private practice, Dr. Geller received extensive training in implantology. That training (and his more than 40 years of implant expertise) allows him to perform dental implant placement and restoration himself. Dr. Geller’s attention to detail, surgical accuracy, and caring bedside manner results in positive patient outcomes. In fact, he’s earned the title of “Best Dentist” three years in a row. Dr. Geller’s self-titled practice is open four days a week, including Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. He also provides evening hours and same-day emergency dental care for those who need it. When a patient makes an appointment in my office they will wait no longer than 5-10 minutes to be seen. I only treat one patient at a time and respect the time of a patient. I completed an extensive residency program at The Mount Sinai Hospital on Fifth Avenue in New York City after graduating from the NYU School of Dentistry. In addition, I received my implantology training at NYU and Columbia University. I perform general, cosmetic, implant and full mouth reconstruction dentistry. I have been placing implants since 1984. What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I focus on delivering the highest level of dentistry a patient can receive. My practice covers cosmetic, general, implant and full mouth reconstruction. Most importantly I believe in educating my patients on the treatments I recommend so they can understand the entire process. I love teaching my patients the proper methods of maintaining the treatment they have received in my office.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud to state that when a patient comes to my practice they will receive the highest level of dentistry possible. There are never any shortcuts to my treatment. The office is spotless and very peaceful. I perform every procedure, no matter how small, as if it's the first time I'm doing it. My dentistry is of the highest level of precision and accuracy. I accept telephone calls from patients 24/7 and always arrange for coverage if I'm on vacation or out of town.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy performing a simple filling or a full mouth reconstruction. My attention to detail is for every procedure I perform. I never take it for granted that any procedure is routine. When patients meet me for the first time they immediately come to the conclusion that I love my profession. I have been placing and restoring implants for over 40 years and continually stay up to date with the latest technology available. I love performing cosmetic dentistry, root canals, periodontal surgery and crowns.
