Dr. Timothy Noel Crombie

Dr. Crombie graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1987. He practiced as an associate for Dr. Terrence Cavanaugh in Hinsdale, Illinois in from 1987-1990, when he then started his own practice in Naperville. Under Dr. Cavanaugh’s guidance, Dr. Crombie started taking extensive advanced study coursework in more complex and comprehensive dentistry right at the inception of his career. Advance studies have continued throughout his 24 years in practice. Dr. Crombie completed the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, complete continuum of courses, very early on while in private practice. Everything that he does today in practice and his philosophy of how dentistry is to be practiced; has been derived from the Dawson/L.D. Pankey philosophy of a comprehensive approach to Dentistry. Dr. Crombie had extended his studies to include cosmetics within the comprehensive framework of his practice. Dr. Crombie completed all the extensive coursework offered by the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education headed by Dr. Frank Spear. Dr. Spear is another exemplar in the dental field and has had a direct influence on the techniques and procedures Dr. Crombie utilizes in cosmetic and complex cases, every day in practice today. Dr. Crombie has a strong belief in the importance of continual advanced study. Dr. Crombie is currently a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. He resides in Oswego with his wife Linda and three children

I listen to what my patients have to say. In my practice, they are not treated like a number.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I specialize in a number of treatments, however my top three are crown & bridge, implant restoration, and cosmetic restorations.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud of how we care for our patients. We take the time and effort to treat each and every one of our patients how they want to be treated. We treat our patients like they are family; we get to know them and their specific wants and needs.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I strive to treat each patient according to their specific needs and wants. I particularly enjoy treating cosmetic and implant cases. Each one has a challenge that ignites my passion for dentistry.
