Susan Rose Huxtable

Dr. Huxtable has been my dentist for over sixteen years. Instead of gum surgery, I opted for the treatment of "dental packing" which her office provides. Her care and expertise over the years has been truly transformative for me. I sleep one hundred percent better, my posture has improved, (my head titled to one side), and I am on my way to having an amazing smile. It began with the recommendation of a night guard, and moved on from there, with her guidance and expertise to braces. Before the braces, my bottom teeth caved inwards, and I had overlapping teeth. At each step of any procedure, Dr. Huxtable has been patient with me as I tend to get a bit anxious. I admire her integrity and compassion. I can't thank her enough for the excellent care I receive. Thank you, Dr. Huxtable. I highly recommend Dr. Huxtable, and her tremendous staff.

I doubt many people can say they love their dentist. I love Dr. Huxtable. She is knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful, and helpful – and I can say the same about the rest of her office. My sleep appliance has changed my life. Since I was born I have always been the first one to catch a cold and it would take me forever to get over it. It turns out I wasn’t sleeping properly. Since I got my appliance over a year ago I haven’t been sick since! I’m not tired all day, I sleep soundly, rarely wake up to use the washroom, and feel so much better all the time. The headaches that were a regular part of my life have disappeared. I also see Dr. Huxtable as my regular dentist. I never feel like she is rushing, she is always on time, and I’m really happy with the crown and cavity she filled. She also fixed a broken veneer for me as an emergency, I was so grateful she fit me in on her lunch break.

Dr. Huxtable and her team have provided me with stand out dental care for coming on 20 years. She is not your average dentist. I have always been plagued with migraines, jaw pain, and difficulty sleeping. A few years ago Dr. Huxtable specialized into a budding field in dentistry recognizing a dentists ability to solve these problems. Before her, I had been bounced around to dozens of different specialists, in an array of fields, none of whom could help me. Since starting treatment with Dr. Huxtable my neck pain is none existent, the permanent circles under my eyes have vanished and my migraines have completely disappeared. I am so thankful to have found someone who could help me when no one else could. Now as a general patient, I see the same care and attention to patient health in her hygiene team. Preventing new problems is just as important as solving old ones. If you care about your smile, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Huxtable.

I've had migraines for as long as I can remember and heard about Dr. Huxtable though my regular dentist. I haven't had a headache in mor than a year and am looking forward to the next part of treatment. Susan does nothing but he best for her patients and does an amazing job of making sure she covers everything when it comes to treatment. I trust her completely with my care, well worth the cost.

Dr Huxtables and staff are very knowledgeable and thorough, initial consult was exhaustive and I now have a excellent course of action to repair my teeth. The crown I have installed is flawless, the filling work is also great. I am pleased with the work and actually looking forward to completing the rest of the prescribed action.

I went to see Dr. Huxtable as a result of a referral about my TMD issues. The experience was overwhelming to say the least. I thought I was just going to be given a bite guard, but after a barrage of tests and videos that I only half understood I was looking at an estimate of $5,000 for "phase one" of my treatment and $8,000 for a vaguely defined "phase 2." The doctor seemed somewhat displeased with me when I balked at the intensiveness of what was being proposed. I find it highly suspect that no previous dentist has ever suggested I had such serious jaw issues(though admittedly it is Huxtable's specialty) or that I required such extensive facial reconstruction to address it. I'd also be interested in know if I'm a unique case--that the treatment fits the severity of the condition--or if this is something that is pushed on all of her clients. I may still undergo the procedures but I'm definitely getting a second opinion first.

Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. The level of service was great.

Dr. Huxtable is a great dentist. Friendly, approachable, experience, knowledgeable, and her office is great. The only gripes I have is that her fees may be higher than the average (possibly due to the location, across from City Hall) so I usually end up having to pay something out of pocket after insurance coverage.. and sometimes it feels like procedures are pushed on you rather than informing you (including the cost - always important to know!) and then asking if you would like to have it done. I am the type who can say no though, so it is okay for me, but I can imagine it being weird for others. The main thing is to always let patients know what the cost is and give them the option to choose their course of treatment by asking them. Don't make assumptions. Other than that, she is great.

Best Dentist I have ever had! Always friendly and keeps me informed! I highly recommended her!

"Dr. Susan" as my kids called her has a chairside manner which cannot be beat. I went to her 18 years ago a quivering jelly of fear after a lifetime of insensitive dentists, and I now refuse to go anywhere else.

This is one amazing dentist. She is so kind and treats her patients very well. I have one issue with her, and that is sometimes it feels like she is trying to sell procedures to you that you do not feel you want/need, but dentistry is a business like all others. I highly recommend her and have sent many friends and co-workers to her as well and they all love her.
