Dr. Vipin Mithia

DR. VIPIN MITHIA was born and raised in Tanzania. He obtained a Bachelors in Dental Surgery Degree (BDS) in 1978. He migrated to the U.S., and completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree (DMD) at Tufts University in Boston. He then practiced in Boston for two years before moving to Canada. He completed an internship at Hamilton General Hospital before opening Iona Dental Office in 1989. Other than treating general and cosmetic dentistry, oral medicine/oral pathology, restorative and endodontic dentistry, he has gained a special interest in TMD and sleep disorders. Dr. Vipin Mithia believes in a multidisciplinary approach to TMD, snoring and sleep apnea. “Team“ management is working together with other healthcare professionals in the best interest of patients. He stays on the leading edge of treatment and technology with continuing education by the top dentists in the North America. Dr. Vipin Mithia is an award decorated dentist who believes in quality work. He always greets you with a smile and spends a generous amount of time getting to know each patient, their needs, wants and special circumstances.
