Dr. Mona Reza

Dr. Mona Reza obtained her Honours Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Toronto in 2016. Before pursuing dentistry, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology. During her education she was the recipient of numerous awards including first prize Schwetz Gross Anatomy scholarship and Dr. Marvin Kopel Memorial Scholarship in General Pathology. Dr. Reza enjoys Dentistry as it is a great combination of her interests: art, science, health care and helping people. She considers herself privileged to be in this rewarding profession, hence she is passionate in providing dental care and has great respect for her patients and the team she works with. Her goal is to empower her patients by educating them about prevention of dental disease and motivating them to control and maintain their oral health. She believes in on going education and takes pride in keeping her knowledge and skills up-to-date by reading and attending continuing education courses. During her free time she enjoys reading on various topics, art works including paintings, yoga and spending time with family and friends.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I believe we all as individuals would like to rely on professionals who truly care about us and make sure we get the best outcome in every situation. As a dentist, my goal is to be that healthcare professional for my patients. I would like to provide my patients with comprehensive care customized to their individual needs. I would also like to empower my patients by educating them about their existing oral health condition and steps that can be taken to improve and/or maintain their oral health throughout different stages of life.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I take pride in taking the time to listen to my patients and hear them out to become fully aware of their needs and interests. I also take pride in providing care that is evidence based, up-to-date, ethical and patient-centered. My goal is to provide the best experience for my patients.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy various aspects of general dentistry from restorative to cosmetic, root canal treatment and surgery. I am experienced in providing care for patients of all ages. I enjoy creating healthy and beautiful smiles.
