About
Hi! I am Dr. Edlira Marku and I would like to welcome you to our practice. I began my dental career in Europe in 2003 after obtaining my degree from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Dentistry in Croatia. After I came to Canada I was able to complete my Equivalency Program, and obtained advanced training through continuing education that I enjoy taking above and beyond the College requirements, in subjects such as Dental and Medical Emergencies, Sedation, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Implants, and Esthetic Dentistry. Today, working at EdaDENTAL, allows me to continue to enjoy my passion in all aspects of dentistry. It gives me immense pleasure to provide my younger patients with excellent dental care. I also enjoy the opportunity of practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in patients of all ages. When I am not at the clinic, I really enjoy getting to know new places and cultures. I am fluent in Albanian, Serbo-Croatian, Italian and English.

However Dr. Marku and her entire office team were fantastic and eliminated any fears I had, especially her dental hygenist, Tula. I had a cleaning with Toula and an exam with Dr. Marku, they were both super friendly and informative, explaining what was visible on my x-rays and offering treatment options. I hadn't been to a dentist in over 2 years but they were both very gentle, took their time and I had no pain. A few cavities were expected and I am returning to get those taken care of.
