I graduated from the University of Western Ontario in Dentistry. I completed a residency at the Hospital for Sick Children from 2000 to 2001. I enjoy taking continuing education courses and keeping up to date on all the exciting things in dentistry. I am an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and enjoy getting to know all my patients. My approach to patient care is a team approach – I and my patients work together as a team to create and restore a beautiful, healthy and happy smile. Creating a comfortable, caring, friendly environment is key for me. I strive to establish a trusting and long-lasting relationship with all his patients. I am married with two beautiful daughters. I keep active with golfing, swimming , weight lifting and indoor rock climbing. I also enjoy playing classical and jazz piano.
I found Dr Tang to be very friendly, professional & modern. His office is very clean & modern. But what particularily impressed me about this dentist is the following: I was originally not going to have x-rays done, as I am a bit nervous about the radiation, and I'd had x-rays done just over a year earlier. However Dr Tang & his hygienist convinced me that especially being a new patient it would be useful. I had the x-rays done, which revealed that an earlier problem I'd had with one of my teeth seemed to have cleared up. Good news, so I was glad I'd had the x-rays done. However I then found out that I didn't have insurance coverage for that particular x-ray! Dr Tang agreed to write off the cost & didn't charge me anything for the x-ray. I really appreciate this- I felt it showed that he really understands & values his patients and wants them to keep coming back. I for one will definitely go back!
