Dr Kaplanksi, you are a very nice dentist, and your bedside manner is usually wonderful. Your staff is absolutely amazing. But I am very disappointed with my root canal, it has been over a year now and the tooth has hurt every single day. This started out as a cavity and was filled with some strange material that you use, which is absolutely awful and feels like porous cement in my mouth. I also know another person who has had a cavity filled with you and they have the same complaints about the material you use to fill cavities. it is not smooth feeling, and we have not gotten used to it and probably never will until it is replaced with better, and more comfortable material. Please change your filling material if possible. Also, after having this cavity turn into a root canal, i went to another dentist for a second opinion and after the xrays he told me that one of the roots looked a bit short. Im not sure if this is why i am still in pain but it could be. I have spent over $1500 on this single tooth after the original filling, the root canal, and now the crown. And I am still in pain every day. I cannot even chew a boiled carrot with that tooth--it is that bad. Not only am I deeply unsatisfied with this treatment, but I also received invisalign with you and I feel like i was over-charged after paying $4000 for "invisalign express" which is supposedly the more affordable type of invisalign - and after doing further research, I have found that many dentists have been offering this for $1800. To be honest, I feel ripped off. Also, once my treatment had finished, you were supposed to take off the attachments and finish off the rest of the treatment by providing the permanent wires and retainer, and also shaving off the attachments. I am quite upset with how you applied my attachments to begin with, my best friend's father is a dentist and he commented on how sloppy the attachments / glue material was applied - and it seemed to stain my teeth making them appear yellowish / brown (until they were removed). Moreover, when you were supposed to remove the attachments i mentioned to you (while i was in your chair) that I still felt the attachment material all over the front of my teeth and you simply denied my statement and said it will wear off in a few days. Well a few days passed and you shuffled me off to another orthodontist to have the rest of my treatment done. Not only did the hygienist there burn my face with one of the tools she was using to put on my permanent wires, but she spent about 15-20 additional minutes helping me remove the access material off my teeth that you failed to remove properly. She was astounded at the lack of care given for the removal of my attachments and she said, "never in my 16 years of being here have i seen anything like this". I am sorry for writing this because i really like you as a person, but this is the truth and you need to exercise more care for your patients and more preciseness in your work - and better quality in your materials.

Dr.Brain Kaplansky si one of the best doctors that my family and I had. He is very gentle and cares greatly about the patient's concerns. Going to the dentist is more like visiting an old friend, there is no stress and we know we can trust Dr. Kaplansky with his decisions 100%. He is very knowledgeable and has demonstrated many times that dentistry can be an art. In addition, I want to mention that Dr. Kaplansky and his staff members are by far the most professional team we've dealt with so far. We feel privileged to have been patients of Dr.Kaplansky for over 12 years now.
