After high pressure sales about implants to replace old teeth with lots of fillings, I agreed to undergo implants. The first implant went well with human bone grafting. The second implant experience took a different turn using bovine grafting. Surprising to me Dr. Wong used a single crown over 2 implants. From the beginning the fitting was poor. You could smell the bacteria under the abutment. The permanent crown was cemented over this leaving an ill fitted space between the gumline and the crown. I don't understand why she chose to use a single crown over two implants. I cannot clean under the implant. From the beginning this was a problem. I am being told that it is my failure in cleaning under the implant. A sizeable absess formed and I can taste the infection which is being ingested. The point of irritation within the bone remains and I fear it is spreading. I am worried about this infection spreading through my system or getting bone cancer from all the bacteria buildup in and around the implant. There is considerable bone loss from the infected implant. Dr. Wong has since sold her practice to her associate who shrugs her shoulders and tells me that it is irreversible and unfortunately nothing can be done and it is up to me to keep it clean and regularly flossed which is not addressing the problem. My flossing and cleaning my teeth is not lessening the infection. Dr. Wong prides herself as a highly touted implantologist who tours different countries lecturing about implant procedures. I have no doubt she has knowledge about implants and has set up a private implant institute in North York somewhere. I question her craftmanship doing it. Her radiologist was a lady with severe allopecia who was very casual about protecting herself or the patient from radiation effects of multiple xrays taken at each visit. I am very worried about the diseased bone, gum surrounding and under the implant itself. I cannot believe there is not medical or dental treatment to clear this up as no one seems to be accountable or responsible for a bad job..

I was promised with a lifetime warranty on implanted teeth. After operation, the fake teeth kept fall. Each time I went back, she glued it on right away as an emergency case. After a few times, she said she would use the strongest glue. Those teeth stayed there for one year until one day when I had my lunch with a couple dozen of my colleagues, it fell down again! I went back to her, re-moulded and glued on, I hope it won’t fall again. Disappointed about the “Life time warranty”, she explained she made the promise, but other dentist in her clinic did not. If she is not there, I will have to pay. She really should have explained that in the first place before the operation. Secondly she asked me to pay the re-moulded teeth, because this money went to lab. I double paid fake teeth because of her mistake. What most disappointed me was her attitude. One of her staff, a bald lady, never have mask on. One time she asked me to NOT breathe! I am sorry that’s beyond my ability!
