This guy has his head elsewhere. Not a real patient centred dentist. THere are others in the city who are way better.

I had to reschedule an appointment with the dentist. His office made a mistake in the date (which I felt I had proved) yet they chose to disregard my phone calls and emails and sent the matter to a collection agency. Eventually they posted this to my credit rating. I have been attempting to contact the office to resolve this for months (after finding out about my credit rating) and they simply ignore me. I have had them send to me bills in my name incurred by my ex-husband (who has a different address). The dental care was sufficient but the behaviour of the office staff caused me to find a new dentist. Unable to trust a health professional I feel is reason to find care elsewhere in a better environment.

Everything he does seems rushed. It's like they overbook everyday and it's like an assembly line just to get you in and out for the next patient. I used to like him...the way he explains what he is doing etc, honestly finally had to change dentists. Not personable at all and you really get the impression he is trying to finish your filling or whatever he is doing in about half the time it should take just to get to the next overbooked patient. I think the straw that broke the camels back was when I went in, he booked me for 4 fillings that took him less that 15 minutes from freezing to getting me out the door (10 minutes for freezing waiting time and about 3 minutes to fill the tiny cavities. Over 700 dollars later I felt like I'd been taken to the cleaners.

He attempted a root canal on a front support tooth, which carried a six tooth gold porcelain bridge. His attempted root canal damaged the tooth to which it broke.In short i had to pay for a whole new bridge which cost well over $5000.00 and later the tooth abscessed and had a two hour surgery,with a specialist, to extract the root at a cost of over $2600.00.I have not used this man since.

Visited a few times before transferring my children to another dentist. Didn't trust him very much, staff and dentist seemed to fix unnecessarily. Ignored my specific request NOT to use nitrous oxide on my child for a very small filling. Didn't tell me they ignored my request, or ask.. they sent me a bill for it. I wasn't even sure they'd used it. I would have been understanding if they explained a reason why he needed this medication, but I know it was put in the file that I requested no use of this med. That was the last straw, after already leaving each visit feeling like I was being "taken".

Not a dentist I would recommend. Very heavy staff turn over. He talks a lot, not trustworthy. I go somewhere else now.

Dr. Chiu is very personable, knowledgable but when it comes to his craftsmanship i had four teeth fillings and two fell out within a month eating nothing hard!

Great dentist, patient, very knowledgeable and details every procedure he's going to perform. Highly recommended, great staff to say the least. Seems to have great young dentist's on staff who are great with kids and adults alike.

We were with Dr. Pellow from the beginning of his career until his retirement when Dr. Chiu took over the practice. We have been very pleased with Dr. Chiu. He is friendly, efficient,thorough and very gentle in his maner and his treatment of his patients. He explains every detail of a procedure so that you know exactly what to expect in advance as well as while he is doing the procedure. He is young and very knowledgeable and keeps very current in his practice. I have had a couple of dental emergencies and he and his staff will always find a way to fit me in - even if it means coming in early or staying late in the day. I highly recommend to any family looking for an excellent dentist.

Very kind and thorough. Explains procedures, in advance, in great detail. I have tooth sensitivity and he is patient, and cautious in treating me - no matter how long the appointment takes. The waiting room is outdated in design, but don't be misled. This doctor is young and keeps current with new procedures and advances in the field. Highly recommended.
