Dr. Nelson is recognized as a board-eligible pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentists. Originally from Arlington, Texas, she always knew she wanted to make a difference in the lives of children. Dr. Nelson graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 2008. She achieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2012 and completed a two year residency in 2014 for a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry, serving children at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Dr. Nelson is an active member of Highland Park United Methodist Church and enjoys reading, being outdoors with friends and family, and traveling with her husband, Kevin.
