Dr. Matthew Burns

Originally from Boston, Dr. Burns received his undergraduate degree from MIT and a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Boston College. Prior to making the decision to become a dentist, he spent two years teaching high school in Chicago and a year as a volunteer with JVC working with developmentally disabled adults. Dr. Burns attended the Western University of Health Sciences in California and graduated with a dental degree. He served four years as an active duty Air Force officer and is currently a reservist.

Simply put, our office cares more and delivers exceptional care. We get to know our patients, we are always available to answer questions and follow up after care is provided. People feel like they are family when they become patients at our office.

What are you proud of in your practice?

We have excellent hygienists and dentists, who deliver exceptional and pain-free care. We put people at ease, even patients who have had traumatic experiences in the past. We have patients who have grown up in the practice for the last thirty or forty years, who now have grandchildren who are patients. We're proud to continue the tradition of a "mom and pop" dental office that is free of corporate influence that has entered the dental field of late.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I love cases where we use Invisalign and whitening to really change the way someone feels about themselves. Some of these patients used to cover their mouths when they laughed, but now they don't hide their smiles from their families and friends!
