⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a great experience at Urbn Dental! The staff was professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit.

I don’t like going to the dentist at all but the hygienist really calmed my nerves.

Urban Dental East River was aesthetically pleasing, spacious and very professional.

Dental hygienist and office staff are unprofessional. Rescheduled me for a sooner appointment and I agreed even though timing was tight for me, despite explaining I also work earlier in the day. They tried to reschedule me two more times thereafter, despite me saying I could not come any sooner from the beginning. They were not timely, when I asked to confirm exact address since there were multiple other clinics with same name nearby. Ultimately, I was rushing to get there even though I called ahead of time that I was going to be late because of delay in confirming location and once I arrived, public parking was difficult to find adding to more delay (they told me at end of my appointment that they validate parking, something better communicated prior to arriving). Despite me clearly explaining what had happened, there was persistent poor communication and displacement of responsibility simultaneously by 3 people: receptionist, dental hygienist and one more office staff. There was another instance of miscommunication regarding billing for exam/xray and routine cleaning, receptionist and another office staff, stated I would be charged separately on a different day and would not get cleaning covered/discounted due to delay in arrival. The hygienist then clarified billing for cleaning is based on xrays/exam, and is independent of my delay. While waiting to be called in, I overheard them talking about me, calling me a liar and name calling. Xray tech was nice but seemed like she was still learning. Dentist was Dr. Mai, who was professional and explained everything I asked. Although I had booked to see Dr.Chae. The dental hygienist came back to explain me the cost of my future cleaning/treatments and somehow her part came out to almost 3x the cost of dentist’s part. When I checked the procedures’ average market costs and indications, keeping in mind what the dentist explained about my teeth/gums, there was no logical sense. The dentist is respectful, with good bedside manner and knowledgeable. However, I would not come to this clinic simply due to the other staff/management/business practices. Nor would I recommend that to anyone.

After my visit yesterday, I realized I made the perfect choice by leaving URBN Dental Clinic and going to there. My hygienists were very careful and mindful when I got my deep cleaning today. She periodically made sure I was comfortable and did an awesome job. You don't have to sit all day and the prices are very reasonable.

Not a great experience, could be because I wasn't mentally prepared for a deep cleaning and went only for annual cleaning. Overall the facility and staff is nice.

Easy to make appointment, were able to change from one location to another. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. One not so good thing is that they left me in the room with a numb mouth for at least 45 minutes, without warning. And did not gave me the medication that I needed after the treatment.

The technology used and how thorough was the check up was impressive

My examination was great!!! After my exam, I realized that despite going to the dentist all my life, I've never had a truly thorough dental exam. I was beyond impressed with the entire experience.
