Throughout his formal training, Dr. Ahmad was involved in research work at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Chemistry, as well at the Hospital for Sick Childrens' Department of Nephrology, and the Mount Sinai Hospital's Fred A. Litwin Center for Cancer Genetics. He has published research work in the journals Proteins, Cancer Epidemiology Biomarkers & Prevention, and the Ontario Dental Students Journal. Dr. Ahmad has a keen interest in providing the most up-to-date and comprehensive oral & dental care in a comfortable setting. He is a licensed member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), International College of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).

The hygienists and assistants are all so friendly and gentle! Dr. Ahmad is thorough, knowledgeable, and personable. I feel like the staff remember me when I walk in, and care completely about my comfort. I used to go to a pediatric dentist when I was younger... and I feel like I'm better taken care of now than back then! Last I went in, Dr. Ahmad was probably away and there was a doctor filling in for him - she was also patient, kind, gentle, and efficient, and I felt like the values of patient care were well communicated to her! Will definitely recommend this clinic to everyone!

Dr Ahmed is fantastic. He has a great sense of humour and does a great job. He explains procedures ahead of time and again while he is working. Everyone in the office is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Many of the staff have been there for several years ( I’ve been a patient for 30 years) and that speaks to a great working environment which is certainly passed onto their patients.

I was impressed with the staff and Dr. Ahmad. I find him authentic. Some dentists are in it for the money but not Dr. Ahmad. I was upfront with him in regards to what I can financially afford at this time and he gave me a sleuth of informative options which I truly appreciated. In the past I had been so gullible and naïve and trusted the dentists who worked on me and only left disappointed. So I think I found a new dentist that I will be happy to work with.I would highly recommend Dr. Ahmad and his staff. I had a great experience. Kind and professional. Very convenient location as well.

Just had the most amazing relaxing appt with Dr Ahmad and his assistant Andrea-they work like a well oiled machine-awesome rhythm! Had a root canal and then the tooth was prepped for a crown-all at once and didn’t feel a thing! This is THE place for your dental needs! Highly recommend!! PS his hygienists are amazing too!!

I've had a filling that's been attempted 3 times in 2 months. And every time we couldn't get past the numbing stage because I could feel everything. Dr. Ahmad saw me, showed me on the screen what the issue was, got me numb in 5 min, fixed the filling and it feels great. Didn't feel a thing. I'm glad I finally found a great, competent dentist! We have constantly been impressed with everyone at Scotsdale Dental. From booking our first appointment, to regular cleanings and examinations, Dr Ahmad and his team provide excellent care. We recently needed an emergency appointment and they didn't skip a beat in helping us organize the care our son required, even taking the time to provide follow-up advice regarding his treatment. Every trip to the dentist is pleasant! Although none of us like to get work done at the dentist, the care and mannerisms of Dr. Ahmad are excellent. Always concerned with if I was okay and ensuring I wasn't it pain. The work done on a recent visit was great - a true artist and skilled at what he does. It's nice to have a filling put in and actually feel like it's my own teeth! Took great care to ensure there weren't any rough spots, etc. Great job :)

I would definitely recommend Dr. Ahmad as a family dentist as I have found him thorough in his work as well as a caring individual. He explains what needs to be done as well as what he doing while performing any work. I have had an occasion when emergency treatment was needed and he responded immediately to remedy my condition.
