Her mom is an oncology expert who has been practicing for more than 35 years. There are also optometrist, cardiologist, and a few nurse practitioners in her direct relatives. Dr. Xie becomes the first dentist in her family, not only because she’s good at 3D perspective and hands-on skills, but also because she inherits the caring, empathetic, and considerate personalities from her medical family.
