Dr. Ami Joshi

Growing up, dentistry was more than just a profession for me—it was a way of life rooted in family and connection. With my mother working as an oral surgeon and my father as a general dentist, I was immersed in the dental field from an early age. My brother and I spent much of our time in their office, where what felt like a workplace to others became a second home to us. Patients and staff were more than just part of the practice, they were like extended family, and that environment left a lasting impression on how I view patient care today. Witnessing the impact my parents had on their patients inspired me to pursue a career in dentistry. I saw firsthand how a healthy, confident smile could change someone’s outlook and improve their quality of life. Those early experiences continue to shape my vision of building a dental practice where patients feel genuinely cared for and where the team works together in a supportive, family-like atmosphere. Since 2017, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, including community health centers and reservation clinics. These experiences, particularly throughout the DFW area, have allowed me to treat a diverse patient population and better understand the importance of empathy, adaptability, and clear communication in dentistry. Each setting has helped refine my approach, strengthening my ability to meet patients where they are and provide care that is both effective and compassionate. I truly value the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, from children to adults, and I approach each interaction with patience and understanding. My goal is to make every visit a positive experience, helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care. Dentistry, for me, is not just about treating teeth, it is about building relationships, supporting overall well-being, and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day.
