Dr. Wertke went to the University of Kentucky to complete his dental education. Following graduation, Dr. Wertke completed a general practice residency program at Advocate Illinois Masonic in Lincoln Park. This residency helped further his training in providing comprehensive dental care including restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He is passionate about being able to work with his patients to actualize their oral health needs and goals. As with Dr. Simpson, Dr. Wertke enjoys being able to provide a relaxing and comfortable experience for all patients and is trained in Oral Conscious Sedation following the DOCS protocol. When not in the dental office, Dr. Wertke enjoys traveling and spending time with his fiancée and their two dogs. As a resident of Wicker Park, they enjoy trying new restaurants, walking the 606 trail, and hanging out with friends. He is looking forward to treating patients of the community he lives in and helping create a practice for them that feels like home
