Dr. Kitchens strives to deliver quality and compassionate dentistry personalized to her patients’ needs. She is dedicated to exceeding the American Dental Association requirements in continuing education, and has completed hundreds of hours of post-dental school education in all phases of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She is actively involved in several dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Society of Forensic Odontology, and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. Dr. Kitchens is a graduate of Tufts University’s School of Dental Medicine and also completed a general practice residency program at Harvard’s School of Dental Medicine. Prior to starting Freshworks Dental Studio, Dr. Kitchens was an associate in several area dental practices, learning from some of the best in the business. She is excited to be serving patients using the latest and greatest techniques in the Northcenter community where she has resided since 2003. During her free time, Dr. Kitchens enjoys music, art, great food, long walks with her husband, and spending time with family and friends. She is a pianist and an avid reader. Great location not to mention very knowledgeable staff! Dr. Kitchens and her entire staff are caring and do their best to accommodate your dentistry needs. I am terrified of going to the dentist, the noise some of the tools generate remind me of a horror story. Lucky for me, Freshworks has noise canceling headphones. The receptionist is very friendly and the hygienist who cleans my teeth always does a thorough job. The online appointment service is great a tool, it allows me to book an appointment with a few clicks. You can also fill out all of the nagging patient forms online. A win win for me. Lastly, the boutique is decorated tastefully and extremely clean! I definitely recommend Freshworks Dental for all of your dentistry needs.

I hadn't been to the dentist in 8 yrs and every one at Freshworks made it as pleasant of an experience as possible. Dr Kitchens is a kind, considerate, gentle, and real dentist. I say "real" because so many doctors and dentists out there have an attitude that they are not on the same level as you, which is why it's refreshing that Dr Kitchens does not come across this way. I was referred to this office from a friend and I'd refer others to this office. Freshworks Dental Studio has my business as long as I live in Chicago.

After a lot of research, I chose to visit Dr. Kitchens at Freshworks Dental when I finally worked up the courage to visit a dentist after many long years of neglecting my teeth. I am very happy with my choice, as Dr. Kitchens and her staff are kind, caring, and gentle. I would recommend her to anyone who is searching for a dentist. Dr. Kitchens explains procedures very well and is genuinely concerned about her patients, their health, and their comfort. I tend to be a nervous patient. This, coupled with a jaw problem that makes it difficult/painful to keep my mouth open for too long, can be challenging. Dr. Kitchens is very patient and gentle, and she checks in with me periodically throughout each appointment to make sure that I am okay and comfortable. Going to the dentist is never fun, but Dr. Kitchens goes out of her way to make it as easy and comfortable as possible.
