Dr. Sherri Hill

Prescribed my wife a medication she was allergic to, despite writing and highlighting it on their questionnaire and mentioning it twice during discussions. Good thing we checked before filling the prescription.Also lots of hidden charges/service fees that they don't tell you about when asking for pricing.

I wonder if Sherri Hill has been stacking the pile here. I have never had a good experience in her office, and most of her staff are temporary only. In fact, I've never head a single patient say anything good about her. This seems a bit too convenient- all these positive ratings.

Out of 4 visits 3 my daughter was left waiting for an hour each time. I understand once that something came up but not 75 % of the time you have to wait an hour. Most of the staff is helpful and know what they are doing but have had fillings where they did not tell me the extent of the work being done and a cleaning where I actually had to stop in the middle because she was hurting me and got annoyed when I told her. Should have left long time ago but am not one who likes change but this is it.

This is a great dentist! My regular dentist sent me to see Dr. Hill for orthodontic work. I had thought about getting braces for many years and it was a big decision for me. Everything turned out exactly the way I wanted it and in less time than I expected. I am pleased to recommend Dr. Hill for orthodontic work!

Very pleased with whole experience. I have only recently become a new patient at Dr. Hills office. I was pleasantly greeted the first time I walked in like an old friend not like a patient. My hygienist was so pleasant and was always concerned with my comfort, made my first appointment so comforting when I was so nervous about attending a new office. Dr. Hill came in for my check up and was so happy to meet me, and so pleasant. She explained everything to me and addressed all of my concerns. I would recommend this office to anybody in Burlington and area looking for a new dentist! Thank you Appleby Dental and Dr. Hill!

I saw Dr Hill on an emergency basis and she fit me in right away. The procedure was so quick and painless. She seems very compassionate and listened to all my concerns. Her office was very clean and had the latest technology. I was very happy to find out she uses digital xrays which she said have less radiation. Her staff was very friendly and helpful. I am now planning to switch my family to her office.

My kids & I have been going to Appleby Dental for 3 years now & we couldn't be more pleased. My kids love it. The hygenists are friendly & very knowledgeable.

I have been going to DrHill's office now for about 5 years. It's a great office. Clean, impressive and looks like the state of the art equipment. I may have to wait a bit for her, but once I am in the room, she is quick, to the point with what she is doing and the staff is very knowledgeable. Hours accomodate my work hours and my kids love going to. Hygienist are great and ponctual. I am very happy with DrHill and her office.

Been a patient for 2 years I'm still undecided. They are always waiting for me when I get there, so very punctual. They seem to try and upsell me on everything and "slide" things in when booking me for sinmple fillings. They told me I needed a filling, I got there my apt. was 3 hours and of course I was too frozen and confused to ask why I was there so long while they were workign on me. They did a bunch of stuff to my teeth I didn't know they were doing (we had discussed but I said I don't want that done and repeated that when I booked with receptionist). Then my bite was messed up and I had to go back 12 times (free of charge) to get my bite corrected. They seem to be over priced too. But I do love that my 4 year old son loves it there. I think I'll be looking elsewhere though. The last time I was there I specifically said I don't want me front teeth filled and they tried to slide it into my apointment again!

Dr. Hill was constantly upselling me on procedures that were not needed. When I had a root canal done, a piece of metal was left in the root, which resulted in dental surgery (elsewhere!). My husband had the same problem. Dr. Hill seems to squeeze too many patients into her day and performs her work on the run, causing several problems for us. Switched to another dentist and we are much happier.

Love Dr. Hill, have been going to her for 17 years, will never change dentists, I always get compliments on how beautiful my smile is. My entire extended family goes to her, and we are all satisfied.

Well this is to the "New Patient"... first of all I've been going to Dr. Hill for ages and don't understand people like you. You have to understand that dentists don't come up with their own prices!!! Obviously you didn't listen or understand when it was explain to you about your first visit and the fees... so don't blame it on receptionist!!! They're the nicest girls and very professional. Wish all dentists were like Dr. Hill ... Keep up the good job Dr Hill and don't pay attention to ignorant people !!! :)

I am a new patient to this office and I dont think i will be returning, The amount of time that the office makes you wait before you are seen is at least 25min past your appointment time. The receptionist are rude & hard to understand. Also the fees they charge are too high, never have i ever paid this much money for an exam & xrays & i still need to have my cleaning done. I do not recommend this dental office.

I have been going to dr hill's office for approx 7yrs.My family and I love her and the office. My kids feed the fish everytime they come.My hygenist is so friendly and i really connect with her.I have consistancy at this office. Same hygenist and same dentist.My last office I was bounced around to different dentists in the same office and different girls cleaning my teeth. So sometimes the office gets a little behind. DO WE GET MAD AT OUR FAMILY DOCTORS WHEN THEY GET BEHIND, AND MAKE US WAIT FOR OUR APPOINTMENT??? DO YOU GET UP AND LEAVE? NOOOOOO!!!I GUESS YOU WOULDN'T HAVE A DOCTOR IF YOU DID!! My family loves Dr Hill! You people should be ashamed of yourself if your biggest worry in life is always running on time!! HAVE YOU BEEN TO THE EMERGENCY LATELY? Do you leave if the doctor doesn't see you promptly? The dental treatment by the office is far superior to other work I have had done in the past.I suggest to anyone to see Dr Hill and her staff.You would thinks she is great too!

Amazing Dentist! Dr. Hill and all of her staff are always helpful and profesional. She has been my desntist for over 10 years and I have never had any problems with her.

Did Dr. Hill write all these positive reviews herself? I was a new patient of that office and was shocked at the lack of professionalism there. They keep you waiting, they are rude and Dr. Hill is never even there. What a joke. I transferred to the office across the street and finally have a dentist I'm happy with. Dr. Hill might have a fancy office but she runs a poor ship.

I've been going to Dr Sherri Hill for several years and have had no problems. Dr Hill's work has always been exceptional. She makes you feel that she has a very personal interest in your well being. Dr Hill's staff has always been friendly, helpful and above all knowledgeable. I feel that my dental health has improved noticeably from previous dentist.

I am a fairly new patient to this practice, and not only did I have to wait in the waiting room for over an hour, but then I had to wait for an "exam" for 45 mins. So in total I waited for HER for 1hr and 45min...and I had to pay her? The lady that cleaned my teeth was exceptional and she made great conversation with me and explained to me the importance of cleanings, as I didnt even have a cleaning that day!!! She seemed to be embarassed that she kept me waiting, but I knew it wasn't her fault. Needless to say, I dont think that I will be returning there. The lady at the front was also rude and short and didnt seem to care that my time mattered. I will not be returning. There is a dentist down the road, and they are punctual.

This Dentist and her staff are very profersional,she is very detailed on all her treatment planning.She treats every member of my family beyound well that we will never see any other dentist.She is personable,to the effect that you feel you've known her all your life. Her work is perfect that i have recommended some of my colleages from work and they also sing her praises.to anyone who will read this its up to you to see 'The Sherri Hill' as we call her ,she is the best.

Our family has recently started seeing Dr Hill and are totally impressed with the cleanliness, technology and professionalism in the office. We were referred to Dr Hill by friends who raved about her excellent dental care---they were right. She is able to provide the newest treatments available and still charges the same as other offices. We have never been in such a professional dental office before. She is exceptional!

Horrible,horrible dentist!! She ruined my 6 years old daughter's front tooth..now it turned into an abcess and it has to be removed. She had a cavity when she was 4 and she kept telling me not to worry, then in a few months the cavity got bigger and brought her back for treatment. When she freezed my daughter's gums, she didn't even put any topical gel or anything arpund that area, my daughter was crying through the whole procedure. Then after the freezing, she left the room and let another person to do the filling. Because dr.Hills is too busy and had no time for my daughter. Now the cavity is coming back and it has infected her root. But I do blame myself for not going to another dentist for a second opinion as I totally trusted dr.Hills opinion, boy was I wrong! Beware of this dentist!!!!!

She prescribed root canal for my smallest child for a cavity which upon second opinion needed to be filled no where near root canal for a child under 5. As well her pricing is off the mark way too inflated!! almost double what everyone else charges....i guess that is how the overdone office was paid for. staff seems like they are on pins and needles when she enters the room, nasty demeanor all around. treats staff like slaves.

Dr. Hill is horrible. Just like the other poster here, I was told I needed a root canal on one of my molars. I too felt that it just didn't make sense, and decided to get a second opinion. Ended up that my temp onlay was not covering my root and that is why I had terrible pain and sensitivity!! She didn't even prescribe my anything for the pain and the 2nd dentist I saw said that was "inhumane" - The pain was horrible...I even called her back to talk to her and she had the nerve to say she told me that I need to come back to have my temp onlay repositioned!! NOT!!! I will never go back to her!!!

I have not had good luck with dentists in this city and she is no exception. It seemsBurlington breeds dentists that are money grubbers and that do not want to take the time to listen or care for their patients. She spent only a few minutes in the room and then her hygienist had to do the rest! Including apologizing for Dr. Hill's lack of caring!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hill's for over 5 years and have always found her to be attentive, friendly, very knowledgeable and exceedingly helpful. I've seen several dentists in my 40+ years, and she is the first that wasn't a "****"!! Her staff are very professional and helpful as well. I moved to Brantford 2 years ago and will NOT change dentists. For me, she is worth the drive.

I went there once because I had a problem with a tooth and her practice is near to my home. She took all fancy digital pictures of my teeth and told me that I needed a root canal for several $100. I went elsewhere to get a 2nd opinion because 'it didn't sit right' for some reason. I can't explain that.. it's just my impression. I went to another dentist and I did not need a root canal. It's been about 3-4 yrs since that happened. I won't go back.
